Following my heart, one book at a time...
Mandy is looking for this book! And LOL!! At first she only gave me ONE tidbit and it was a small one. Luckily she came back with a bit more info, so *fingers crossed* that someone might know it. 😉
P.S. Her question prompted me to tell my own “real life” blast from the past story, below, that really matches this!!
She asked:
Mandy: Help I can’t think of a name of a book! It has the song I remember you by skid row! It was such an amazing book 😉 even though I can’t remember the details…
Nicole needs our book help! MARITAL STRIFE & ANGST ALERT!!
OMG THE DETAILS she gives make me want to sob!!!! Since she said she only read a bit of the book, I’m pretty sure there’s much more to it than what she ends off on, but I’ll still spoiler alert a little throughout because HOLY MOLY I’M DYING TO READ THIS!!!
She asks:
Maryse, can you help me?
I’m looking for an book. I only read a little bit. The main character are Emily Gale and Hunter Jackson.
They were married and she got divorce papers. He signed them and got out of the cafe.
Sejal needs our book help! It almost reminds me of the end of book #1 in a duet by Aly Martinez!! It was an INTENSE scene and quite the crazy cliffhanger and had me on edge BIG TIME.
And if I can remember correctly, the scene she describes below is for secondary characters in this book, that become the MAIN characters in the duet conclusion.
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
There’s this the scene stuck in my head and I’ve been trying to find it but I can’t.
I think it’s a mafia.
So the heroine was trying to get away from the hero and she holds a gun on him so she can make it out past the hero’s security.
Sarah has one for us , and oh how I LOVE police romance and men in uniform, so I can’t wait to find out what this one is!!! YAY ME!! YAY US!!!
She asks:
Ok I have one I’ve been racking my brain for.
The heroine is dunking (in water) her husband who she caught cheating on him and the hero is the police officer who shows up to arrest her.
Hopefully someone knows what I’m talking about!
Maryse: OHHHH! I bet that’s it, and it’s in KU and I’m adding it to my Kindle now. 😀 YAY ME!! Now to let Sarah know there’s a guess on here. 😉
Caroline is looking for this one!! OMG I love vigilante books and I haven’t read this one (how could I possibly forget with THAT funny detail) but now I gotta know this one, too! Tee hee!!!
She asks:
A few years ago, I found a book on your site about 3 women (all very normal, like school teachers) who would lure “bad” men back to their off-grid container house and murder them.
There was a huge flower garden where they would bury the bodies underneath.
HELP! Love your site!
