Okay here’s another one that by the way the reader describes the end, it ends in a cliffhanger. I’ve left off most of it since it’s spoilery, but maybe this is enough info for y’all to go on:

Kandi asks:

“It was a girl that fell in love with her brothers (she had 2) best friend. Her brothers were very protective and didn’t want her dating their best friend. They started sneaking around… *spoiler*”

Okay so I know this might not be enough info, but the rest kind of sounds exciting and crazy (I’m just going to throw in “stalker” as a keyword), and I don’t want to say anymore. 🙂 Maybe those who have read it will know exactly which one she’s referring to. Definitely sounds like this one deals with a dark subject, and our fellow reader can’t remember what sample she read.

I read a sample of a book several months ago (can’t remember much about it). Just that I was so anxious for its release, it was that good. I believe that the release date was oct 2013. It was about a girl who lost her parents and grew up with her best friends family. She had a big crush on her best friend’s cousin. However, it was her best friend’s brother that helped her deal with the death of her parents. The girl and best friend are now in college and the cousin goes there as well. Cousin is good looking and keeps asking girl out, she finally says yes. Something seems off, he follows her to a Caffe where she was studying, when she comes out he has messed with her car. Back at her apartment he tries to rape her, her best friend walks in, cousin covers by saying she was attacked. read more

I get a lot of really great book questions (next in series, release dates, book titles, book suggestions etc…) and while I usually answer them privately, I thought to myself, so many of us have the exact same question! Okay here’s a book title question that has me stumped but sort of rings a bell. Maybe one of you know which book she’s referring to? And eeeeeep! (that’s quite the subject matter)…

Rock star book title question (although this sounds like a few of the “shorter” ones I’ve read in the past). Right off the bat it makes me think of Olivia Cunning’s Try Me (One Night with Sole Regret), except for the fact that it’s her best friend who’s the fan.

Still though, we’re rock-star read gurus so I’m sure one of us has the answer for Nicole.
