<—- Book #1 had me all intensely connecting to the hero (while simultaneously wanting to run in the other direction… And then back to him, again). My brain, you know. It had “smart” opinions, while my heart had… another idea. I mean, he’s literally (yes, I said literally!) the guy that your mamma warned you about. He’s a player, a bad boy, part of a rough crew, and his over-the-top reactions to… other guys in the vicinity… well… eeeeeep!!! He’s jealous, possessive, and reacts obnoxiously. Publicly.
All that things that make us cringe in real life (when we’ve seen it happen, and you know we have!), but I got to “indulge” in the drama behind the safety of our book-world. *phew* And you thought Travis was quick-tempered. 😉 HA! Ahhhh my sweet Travis. But I digress. This post is about Coop.
About book #1:
Heir to the local motorcycle club and crime syndicate, Cooper Johansson is accustomed to taking what he wants. His newest conquest is college freshman Farah Smith.
When the tattooed bad boy reminds her of a rough childhood she desperately wishes to forget, Farah keeps him at arm’s length. Yet, Cooper refuses to give up. He pushes her buttons, tears through her walls, and forces her to admit her feelings for him. What begins as lust soon builds into something more powerful than either expects.
Can a beast like Cooper heal the damage inside the girl of his dreams?
