Maggi Myers is celebrating Valentines Day with us, and she has a SIGNED copy of her fantastic book, The Final Piece to give away. AND!! It is on sale today. Thank you SO MUCH Maggi!!!

A gorgeous, eloquent (yet somewhat dark) story that had me catching my breath in awe. The writing was simply beautiful! Check out my review.

Kristin loved it, too:

“LOVED this book.  I was completely taken in and felt like part of the story.  I was as well shocked by the details, but was amazed how the author was able to make you really feel what it would be like, to stand in those shoes for just a moment.  And, it made the love story that much sweeter, I cried numerous times and always know then that I am reading an amazing story!!”

Charles Sheehan-Miles has offered a signed copy of his book A Song for Julia (Thompson Sisters) (it’s officially book #2, but would be read perfectly as #1 in the series, due to the course of events in this one).

I’ve read both books that he’s written for the series so far, and loved ’em. Sweet, gorgeous romances with a touch of angst. Check out my review! (P.S. Did I mention the hero in this one is a rock star. Oh. Yes. He. Is!!)

OH!!! AND AND!! He has put this book on sale today and tomorrow!!

“Exhale (Just Breathe) ebook is on sale today & tomorrow. Inhale e-book will return to reg price any day now.”

Many recommendations for this series, including this one from Lise:

“I read these and really like the way the series is going. Another slow build with the love angle similar to EIT, but steaming hot love scenes! The story is full of action, supernatural beings, whales, and a smoking hot Aussie rock star with tatts and pierced lip. These are adult books, not YA. Go get em, ladies!”

“… one signed paperback – reader’s choice from the Club Destiny Series or Alluring Indulgence. Happy Valentine’s Day! Oh, and Conviction is on sales today and tomorrow!!!”

Maya Banks – The Breathless Trilogy Reading Order

By 23 Comments

In honor of the latest book release by Maya Banks I thought I’d create the reading order guide, and find out when the next releases in the series will be. I hear it’s got that “Fifty” feel, so it’s right up our alley! It’s already going strong, having made the NYT Best Sellers list and our own fellow readers are already recommending it!

Ivannie: Just finished Rush by Maya Banks!! It was really good! (Something similar to fifty shades, but not so hardcore!)

Nikole: Hey guys! So yesterday I started and finished at 1am Rush by Maya Banks. I really enjoyed the book, there is a 50 Shades feel to it…but I think a little better in the fact that the heroine Mia isn’t SUPER naive and she has a backbone, she doesn’t just bend to his every whim. I would give the book a 4-4.5 stars.

Pamela: This book was incredible and it is hurting to wait for the next one…I want the story to pick up where this one left off…but hoping the other friends will share snipets of story that is going on…so good!!! it is a 5 star read!

Sarai: The Maya Banks Breathless series (Rush, Fever and Burn comes out 8/6) totally love!… Three wealthy best friends that have dominant personalities. Fell in love with them. I think you would enjoy 🙂

Kathy: Can’t wait to read Burn by Maya Banks which just came out today! !! If you haven’t read the first two books in the series, you definitely should!! They are a little pricey but worth the read for sure!! A nice guilty pleasure. 🙂

About book #1:

Gabe, Jace, and Ash: three of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the country. They’re accustomed to getting anything they want. Anything at all. For Gabe, it’s making one particular fantasy come true with a woman who was forbidden fruit. Now she’s ripe for the picking…

When Gabe Hamilton saw Mia Crestwell walk into the ballroom for his hotel’s grand opening, he knew he was going to hell for what he had planned. After all, Mia is his best friend’s little sister. Except she’s not so little anymore. And Gabe has waited a long time to act on his desires.

Gabe has starred in Mia’s fantasies more than once, ever since she was a teenager with a huge crush on her brother’s best friend. So what if Gabe’s fourteen years older? Mia knows he’s way out of her league, but her attraction has only grown stronger with time. She’s an adult now, and there’s no reason not to act on her most secret desires.

As Gabe pulls her into his provocative world, she realizes there’s a lot she doesn’t know about him or how exacting his demands can be. Their relationship is intense and obsessive, but as they cross the line from secret sexual odyssey to something deeper, their affair runs the risk of being exposed—and vulnerable to a betrayal far more intimate than either expected.
