Jennifer needs our book help!! OFFICE ROMANCE ALERT and Jennifer says it’s hilarious. I LOVE the sounds of this!

She asks:

Maryse, I’m struggling so hard to remember the name of a book I borrowed on kindle.

The main character is a woman who meets a man in her office’s elevator. They hook up and then when she realizes he’s her new employee, she tries to disguise herself.

It’s a hilarious office romance and the female lead has a crazy cat with a hangnail.

Please tell me you or one of our book lovers knows this book!

Anyone know it?

I’m on the bottom tier of those, so technically I’m not as crazy as the other Wild Ones. In fact, if it wasn’t for my brothers and their endless antics, I wouldn’t be considered a Wild One at all. Ahem. Sure. We’ll go with that.
Anyway, I have a best friend who endures it all with me. Benson Nolans is my one, constant favorite person.
Without him, I’d probably go really crazy, and not the fun kind. It’d be ridiculous, after three years of a flawless friendship, to mess that all up by falling for him.
I mean, even if we did get a little too close one night, it’d be reckless endangerment. Even if we did suddenly feel the chemistry that’s always been there and stop toeing the line, it’d be a foolish risk to take.
It’d be stupid to start hoping a really fun, but completely irrational, night with zero inhibitions might accidentally happen.
Really stupid…

Rachel Hollis – Girl, Achievement Series

Okay I did it again. 😉 I came up with my own “series name” for now, until an official one is announced, but how could I not put up  a post to such an amazing self-help, empowerment series? And I think this is perfect for EVERYONE (male and female alike).

Maria:  It is such an amazing book!!!!!!!
Dawn: I am currently listening to Girl, Wash your face and I am LOVING it!!

I’m listening to this one as we speak and it SPEAKS to me. Down to earth, introspective, and she uses so many of her own personal life examples (stuff that, at times, will absolutely make you cringe) to help us realize all that we ARE. And that we are not alone. I’m LOVING IT!! And guess what? A new one is up for preorder. 😀
P.S. Isn’t it weird how I can only READ fiction, but I always tend to prefer to “listen” to self-help audiobooks. In this case (and often the case for my self-help audiobooks) I like when Rachel talks to me. I love to listen to her, and I feel like we’re just hanging out. She’s already an amazing comfort and friend, even if I don’t know her in real life.

Joy: On a happy note, author Addison Cain mentioned that she just finished reading Close Encounters by Anna Zaires. I one-clicked it and dove right in. I LOVED IT!!! I finished book one and just started two of the trilogy. I was hooked immediately. I think I’ll be sad to see this couples story end.
BTW, if you like the dark stuff with lots of heat…Addison Cain is the author that gives it to you. Straight, no chaser! She’s not for the faint of heart. Her alpha’s a the biggest A-holes ever, they’re kinky, kinky, kinky, take what they want (non-con), and make you love them by the end of the story. They’re the alpha men you hate to love. Her Facebook group, Addison Cain’s Dark Longing’s Lounge is hilarious and a bit x-rated but we have a ton of fun.
