Wanderlust
<—- First off – BEWARE OF DARK READ!!! Enter this review (and book at your own risk). Deals with VERY difficult subject matter and I worried that it was too hard for me, in the beginning part, even if these are totally up my dark alley. But I’m glad I stuck with it. I ended up loving it.

In the Stillness
I received a review copy of this book, and since I’ve heard good things about this author’s previous work, I intended to give this one an eventual “go”. But after receiving two glowing recommendations by authors who’s books I’ve loved, and who’s opinion I respect, it immediately went from TBR soon, to “to be read now“.
Maggi: I just want to say that I have not read anything this brilliant in a long time. This book is life changing.
Real
<— This one was a “stayed-up-all-night-now-I’m-a-book-zombie” read, and I had a blast sighing and *squeeing* with my fellow readers over Remy as so many of us read it together. It just came out yesterday, and when Joanna mentioned how much she was enjoying it, I knew it had to be my next (we have similar book tastes).
Joanna: I’m reading “Real” by Katy Evans right now. It’s giving me chills… Hope it holds up this good all the way through. If it does, it’ll be on my keeper shelf in a BIG way.
Own the Wind: A Chaos Novel
I’m almost 100% crazy about this book. For sure I’m 5-star crazy about the whole first 75% of it. What. Intensity. The slow, sweet and at a few points, very sad build-up, and paced oh so well that I was starving for relief. Though, happily so. I love having to work for it.
Loyalty obligations that turn into hurt feelings. Moving on… that turns into more hurt feelings.
When he saw her it happened like it always happened. He didn’t know why he hadn’t learned, why he didn’t brace. He always expected he’d get over it, get used to it but he didn’t.

Raid (Unfinished Heroes) (book #3 in the series, and while past characters appear in this one, it still reads perfectly as a standalone).
Before I start, there are no real spoilers, but this book is best savored not knowing what’s coming up at all. It’s got angsty romantic tension, pining, insecurities, blow-ups… all of that. Best experiencing this one fresh. Just know if you are in the mood for an UBER-alpha steamy read with some really tumultuous moments, and a definite “real-guy” feel, (and you want to be infuriated with him, even as you fall for him) then this is for you.
