Outlaw
In the mood for an “easier” biker romance read? This one pretty much satiated my by biker sweet-tooth. It had a bit of that bad-a$$ thing going on, which is a must. I think it meant to have more, considering the initial subject matter and how they “handled” things, but it wasn’t quite to that gritty level. Still though, a touch of Kristen Ashley’s bad-boy speak, some drama a la motorcycle club (you know… territory issues, bad apples, witnesses… and “you don’t belong here” kinda stuff. ;)) and a whole lotta love. It had a bit of everything that some of our favorites had, but not quite enough to proclaim it a favorite. However, I was enjoying it and wanted to finish the book and can think back on it as a good “in-between” read.

Reader Question – The book about the biker that claimed the coffee girl…
Ohhhhh a biker book question! I’m always looking for a great new motorcycle club read. In fact I have a review for one coming up today, and another that is pretty much next on my TBR list (Diamond Girl), but this one might be good, too!
Sounds familiar, but definitely not something I’ve read. Why does coffee and bikers sound familiar to me?
Maryse, I am going crazy trying to find a book that I was reading about
… anyway this book is about a biker who owns I think a restaurant and while he was out of town one of the gang members let a lady rent a cabin. She only stays in towns for like a month selling coffee and giving advice and then moves on.
Book Review – Own The Wind by Kristen Ashley
Own the Wind: A Chaos Novel
I’m almost 100% crazy about this book. For sure I’m 5-star crazy about the whole first 75% of it. What. Intensity. The slow, sweet and at a few points, very sad build-up, and paced oh so well that I was starving for relief. Though, happily so. I love having to work for it.
Loyalty obligations that turn into hurt feelings. Moving on… that turns into more hurt feelings.
When he saw her it happened like it always happened. He didn’t know why he hadn’t learned, why he didn’t brace. He always expected he’d get over it, get used to it but he didn’t.
Kristen Ashley – Chaos Series Reading Order
UPDATED September 21st 2020!!!
Are you looking for more motorcycle club romance reads? Do you love a real bad boy (and I mean raw, gritty and unapologetic). You know… THAT kind of bad boy. π Where the lines are blurred between good, bad and potential anti-hero. Or maybe he’s good at heart, but still… has his own way of doing things. A bit of shock value, if you will. And all of that dominating alpha male x everyone in the compound.
Yep. Testosterone a-plenty in Kristen Ashley’s books but her latest Motorcycle Man took the cake! And we loved it so much (and so did the author) that it spawned a spin-off. THIS ONE!!
