Okay… when this one was released last year, I was in full Book Bash prep mode, so I totally missed it. But in a recent “reader favorites” list, a fellow reader brought it back to my attention, and the subsequent comments about it, HAVE ME.
Yvette: I discovered this author this year. If you add anything to your list, please add these 2 books. Even the book titles give me a bit of the shivers…

Crazy blurb *jolt*, crazy-big reader love for it and an awesome author, all in one? MINE! Upon its release I couldn’t help but squirrel from my TBR list, one-clicked it and jumped right in. Sounded dark and intriguing, and creepy, and exciting, and like it had the potential to be a totally unconventional love story.
Lisa: I’m about to start Corrupt. It sounds like a tummy twister and I’m not certain where the romance comes into it cos they don’t appear to have any L.O.V.E. for each other in the blurb.

Well there ya go. Goes to show you that some books on an old TBR list… or that *should* have been on an old TBR list, from a year or so ago, can hold all the book-fog power. ‘Cause this one is almost two years old, my friends, and OMG I LOVED IT!!!!!! Are you looking of your next “bully” romance book? THIS. IS. IT!!!! Fabulous mature writing, and fabulous storytelling!! I believed it, I felt it, I LIVED it, and I LOVED it!
BBR: He is bully for sure and the heroine in this book is not spineless at all:)) I hate spineless heroines!
November 9: A Novel
I read it (*squeeee*!!) and I’m here to tell you, you’re in for a treat!! It’s a totally unique way to tell a sweet love story. In true Colleen Hoover fashion, this one has all of her infamous feels (whether you’re giggling with glee at how clever her characters are, or wanting to throw your book in fury ’cause they can be so darn thick-headed sometimes!! 😉 ). The dialogue, the fantastic character introspection, POV’s from both characters (and yet you have no clue what’s gonna happen even though you know what they’re both thinking), everything that’s signature to this author is here.

Okay I just discovered this series ’cause book #2 was just released and OMG IT SOUNDS SOOOOOO GOOD & so unique! And so does book #1!! I *think* each book is about a different couple. So I’m posting the reading order and dedicating a *pre-squee* to these blurbs that totally have *oomph* and jolted me BIG time! I just couldn’t let this go unnoticed! In book #1… She’s in her 20’s and has early-onset Parkinson’s disease…
