Lora Leigh’s Navarro’s Promise Errors

By Leave a Comment

It’s been mentionned a few times today, that there are some missing scenes/pages from Lora Leigh’s latest release (Navarro’s Promise (Breeds). While nothing has been explained specifically (looks like a simple publishing error), the author has acknowledged it on her forum:

From author’s forum (today)
NAVARRO’S PROMISE ERRORS
There appears to be pages/paragraphs missing after page 299 or 300. Lora is aware of the problem and is working on fixing it with the publishers. She’s terribly sorry that this happened. Lora’s readers are very important to her and she’s sick that you’ve been so disappointed.
Thank you.

Jenna Maclaine – Cin Craven Series Reading Order

By Leave a Comment

Thanks to my Michele from my Facebook page, for this recommendation!

About the series (historical/vampire):

She is a vampire, a witch, a warrior- and her story is one of legend.

Dulcinea Craven descends from a long line of witches, and she has just inherited wild, untrained magical powers that she has no idea how to control. Now a ruthless vampire and an age-old demon are determined to enslave Cin and steal her power for their own. Her only hope is The Righteous, a band of warrior vampires who slay the rogue undead. Among them is Michael, a fierce swordsman who inflames Cin’s most primal hungers. Showing her a sensual pleasure beyond anything in the mortal realm, she must choose between the human existence she has always known, and immortality as a vampire—a new life filled with forbidden urges, dark yearning, and unearthly passions… read more

Latest J.R. Ward News and Insights

By 14 Comments

Okay…so I’ve been getting a few “news requests” about J.R. and the BDB future and this is what I’ve been able to gather from the latest updates. While this isn’t earth shattering news, I still found some fascinating insights and tidbits into the Black Dagger Brotherhood world, as it stands today. So I thought I’d highlight them here:

  • Next book to be released is from her Fallen Angels series —> Envy: A Novel of the Fallen Angels (release date Sept 6th 2011)
  • Tohrment’s book is next in the BDB series (April 2012) – in her Barnes and Noble chat, she admits she thought next book would be Mhurder’s, but nope. It’s Tohr’s.
  • J.R. comments about her love of rap, and answers her fan’s comments about Manny’s love of metal/rock music (on her Facebook):

“LOL I didn’t make Manny anything- he just is what he is :D”

“…I love rap and hip hop, to me it’s just what speaks to me- it’s good that we live in a culture where we can pick you know?…” read more

Book Review – Darkness Everlasting by Alexandra Ivy

Darkness Everlasting (Guardians of Eternity Book 3)
Wow, Styx… I must really ♥heart♥ you to delay starting J.R. Ward’s “Lover Unleashed” just so I can catch up with your review. Yup, it’s true. I either have the best discipline ever, or just love making myself suffer (although to be honest, reliving your book is not suffering at all 😉 ).

The latest Black Dagger Brotherhood book was released today, and after work, I raced home to read it. Just as I was about to start, the guilt hit, and I said – WHOA Maryse!! You can’t be rude to Styx. He entertained you and made you swoon for three days straight, and you’re about to dump him for for some new BDB hunk! read more
