If you like high-tech action and psychological suspense, with a smart hacker and a strong female lead at its core, then you should enjoy the Darknet series.
What’s it about?
This is an “Amazon First Reads” that I chose recently (in fact, it only officially comes out in January, but I think Prime members can buy it now), and I was thrilled by the feedback I was getting on it, ’cause it sounded right up my psych-thriller/mystery alley!! P.S. It’s actually still available to be “purchased” for free, for Prime members if you haven’t selected one yet, this month.
Mona: Hey Maryse, have you chosen your Amazon Prime First Reads for December? I picked Unspeakable Things by Jess Lourey. I was up until 1:30am reading it, fell asleep but woke back up about 3:30am thinking about the book so I picked it back up and finished it at 6:30am.
Behind Her Eyes: A Suspenseful Psychological Thriller <— OMG OMG OMG!! I AM DYING to read this one BIG TIME!! YAY to my sister for telling me (and us) about it, it’s so right up my domestic/marital strife/the other woman thriller alley. She’s the other woman… but it appears to go WAY deeper than that. 😀

I just found out about this ’cause Kat LOVED book #1 and this sounds like so much creepy fun!!! 🙂 AND!!! The actual sequel to book #1 (the 3rd book listed below) is up for preorder and coming out in just a few weeks!!
P.S. I’m not really sure that book #2 is part of this series, ’cause from reviews – it’s a standalone – but the title, and cover and the fact that it’s also a YA psych-thriller/murder mystery makes me feel like putting it in here, anyway. 😉
