Following my heart, one book at a time...
Harper has a new list for us, and this one is divided into genres!!! I get a kick out of how book #1 in a duet made the 2021 list, and book #2 in that duet made this one!

And apparently we struggled through a similar book-rut in 2022. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t read some awesome ones. To be fair, we’ve both been in “home-change mode”. Her, with home renovations, me with home selling and then home buying and moving. BUT!! She did manage to read a bunch that are new-to-me, and I can’t wait to discover them too! TRIED AND TRUE (she’s another one that I consider a book-twin).

Natasha: I enjoy most of her books, but I really enjoyed the strength of Gemma, but the banter between her and Ben made my heart happy!
YAYYYYYY MONA!!! She’s been with us for awhile (since 2018!!) but this is her FIRST “Best of” list with us, and I’m thrilled. Mona is regularly active in our comments (and lets us know she’s found an awesome book – thank you Mona!!), so it’s my pleasure to present her very favorite books of the year!
P.S. In case you’re wondering, Mona is not “Mony” (two different fellow readers, and I love them both!!)

BTW, the usual favorites of course, are on here (like that one to the left, and of course The Bronze Horseman and Outlander – and by this point, I’m sure most of us have devoured them). But I promise you there are a TON more recommendations below (many that are new-to-me) and sound AMAZING!!!!!!
