Gin is in the mood to read a very specific trope (historical OR modern is fine). I can’t think of anything off the top of my head to recommend her in that regards? I’m not a huge historical romance reader, but I’m sure there are plenty in that genre…
I have read (and love) opposites attract/wrong side of the tracks books (a few where the hero is homeless that I LOVED), but I can’t think of any where he’s a slave…
On my “What are you in the mood to read” page, she tells us:
LIST REQUEST TIME!!! 😀 We’re in the mood for something a little different, romance-wise. 😉 Romance yes!! But with a twist.
And this time, it’s (by nature of the trope request) “spoiler-ish” because pretty much right off the bat – for most of these suggestions anyway… we’ll know who the winning guy ends up being.
So unless you don’t mind already knowing a specific outcome in a love story, you might want to skip this one (and not look at the recommendations below).
Mony just sent me this very sweet list for us to pick and choose from that might just do the trick in helping us escape our current reality. Some super-sexy, some warm and comforting and some just plain ol’ fun (and she categorizes them too, in case you’re in the mood for exactly “that”)!!
I love this idea, and there are a bunch in her list that rocked my world, so I’m anxious to try her other favorites. And I’m anxious for YOUR lists, too. Let’s add ’em!
I haven’t delved into the world of reverse harems (other than way back in the day when I was hooked on Anita Blake and went very many books deep, but that got so out there for me that I stopped reading somewhere along the way).

What’s even more fun, is that we have two kinds of lists requested (books “geared” for boys, and also of course, for girls). So I’ve tried to separate them a bit here, to make it easier to focus on what you’re looking for, but in the grand scheme of things, it ends up all mixed together below since we can all read them and enjoy them.
