Reader Question – The book about the hired photographer on tour with a rock star…

Rock star book and Julie is looking for the title so she can read it again…

She asks:

Am looking for a book I read a couple of years ago about a rock star. He had insta love with a photographer he hired to shoot their tour. I also remember that his father made fantastic omelettes and he had great grandparents.

For some reason I have been thinking about this book and wanting to read it again. Any help would be appreciated..

I’ve read a few photographer-on-tour with the band books, but I don’t recall omelettes, so I don’t think I’ve read this one. read more

This one started off as the ultimate rock star fantasy loaded in steam and SWEET! Because… you just KNOW (in real life!) that actually “meeting” your favorite rock star is a far-fetched fantasy.

And even if you did finally meet them, they’d likely not remember you or even take the time to get to know “you” in the onslaught of fans meeting them too. It’s understandable. As personable as they may be, someone in the limelight, that is constantly surrounded, develops a certain distance… maybe even ambivalence to that kind of environment. read more

Intriguing title, mysterious cover, a fantastic premise and RAVING reviews had me *squirrel* my TBR list (and in fact, 2 books I was reading at that time) to jump right in to this one, on it’s surprise release day (well… a surprise to me anyway). This is the author’s debut and I had no idea it even existed until my reading buddy Kandace, and a few others found it for us!

Kim: I read Night Shifts Black the day it released! It’s MUST reads. A straight forward look in to depression without kid gloves and a HELLUVA read. I stumbled on it before any reviews not really knowing anything other than a former musician was in it ~ that was my initial draw. Boy oh boy, I kept thinking about this hidden gem that way more people need to read!!! read more

A.L. Jackson – Bleeding Stars Series Reading Order

ROCK STARS ALERT!! Book #1 & #2 are a “duet” and complete and now book #5, that was just released, is a standalone! YAY US!!! 😀

The blurb for #3 really got me (and Jessica totally flipped over it!!!), so I had to backtrack over the whole series and post this!
