I was presented with these two options last night, and I just couldn’t resist. I chose both! Yep, I was a bit of a bad-boy glutton and decided that since I could get both of them “in”, in one night, why should I choose? I gave the reading a rest, and sat back and let myself be entertained in two easy, 1.5-hour spurts. And what a fun night it was! They may not have blown my mind, but I don’t think they’re supposed to. 😉 Entertain me they did, though. I know these aren’t books, but I think so many of us can enjoy these anyway (in-between reads). Now it’s back to books for me, and I’ll be reading about race car drivers tonight. YAY me! A different kind of bad boy…

Saving Grace By Christine Zolendz Is Available Now! Plus Fall From Grace is Free Right Now!!
Wow I wasn’t expecting Saving Grace (book#2 in the Mad World series) to be released so soon after book #1, but I am thrilled it’s here!
Remember my review for that bad-boy, rock star/paranormal’ish book —-> “Fall From Grace“? The girl looking for the one man… the only man… she thought once captured her heart. Her soul mate. Until she meets “Shane”, the local bad-boy rock star, and her goal hits a bump in the road when she develops feelings for him, too? I said it had a sort of… “Thoughtless/Beautiful Disaster” feel to it, but the paranormal spin really took me by surprise.
Book Review – The Devil’s Metal by Karina Halle
The Devil’s Metal (Devils)
ROCK STAR BOOK!!!! The whole tour, groupies, backstage access and everything. Okay, but wait. This is not our “usual” rock star book. You know… the BIG romance and angst thing? But it is OH sooo good anyway. Y’all know I LOVE Karina Halle and her Experiment in Terror series, and of course there’s my little “Dex” obsession. Yep. Juuuust a little obsession. *pinches two fingers together* Okay… i’ll admit it. It’s actually much bigger than that. 😉
S.J. Frost – Conquest Series Reading Order
Highly HIGHLY recommended by my friend Jackie (when we were ranking our favorite heroes), and also recommended by SO many others (Amber and Lis to name a few more friends). Adamant discussions erupt in excitement when these guys are brought into the mix (note: this is GAY – m/m – rock star romance).
While Jackie was reading book #1 she emailed me and I knew EXACTLY how she felt:
“… but I wanted to share this book with you. It’s called Conquest by S J Frost. Its Rockstar based so it will tick boxes for you . The thing is , I’m about 1/3 of the way through it and I really care. Really really care what happens to these two guys. (It’s m/m – forgot to mention that.) You know when you are reading a book and its all happy and content – at the start of the relationship – well I’m still there. But I know its all going to go bad real soon.”
What To Read After Thoughtless
Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens (wow… the ultimate in angst, heartache, crazy, blood-boiling moments and swoonworthy heroes!)
<—- This book runs the gamut on what I love to read!
- Gorgeous coveted rock star? Check!
- Rock star secretly starts falling for sweet “normal” girl.Check!
- Lots of drama and angst (and I mean ANGST!!!) Check!
- Infuriating situations involving all of the main characters (yes, Denny, I’m looking at you!! You started it! Grrrr!).*woops* sorry ’bout that. *ahem* Check!
- Making foolish decisions (or serious indecision) for fear of hurting/angering/losing … someone (Yes. That’s right. I’m talkin’ ’bout love triangles.)
- Uncomfortable & surprising subject matter that had me emotionally reacting to the point that I felt it, physically? DOUBLE CHECK!
Oh yes… be forewarned. If you haven’t read this yet, this book goes there. This isn’t your usual “safe” love triangle that we so often find in our romance books. This is the whole shebang that will have you seeing red while simultaneously feeling guilty for enjoying it so much. So who wants more?
