Absolute “new adult” angsty-romance reading PERFECTION!!!!!!! Yes. I SAID IT. Romance reading perrrrrrrfection! In fact, could very well be my favorite of 2015. Could I have already found it? I could very well have, but either way, this one has cinched a solid spot in my forever-favorites category. In fact, I was only 75% into the book when I publicly declared it a 5-star read. read more

Layne Harper – The Infinity Series Reading Order

YAY for a great looking (and I think *complete*) series! Friends at first but you know how that goes. 😉 I love those. She’s a med student and he’s becoming a famous football player and they “…must learn to cope with his transition to playing professional football, the crushing attention of the media, and constant demands of his fans.”

Book # 4 was just released and if you’re in the mood to indulge in a nice long series read, by the sound of these recommendations, THIS is it!!! read more

“They’re not racy since the publisher only publishes clean books. They do combine a sports vibe with a New Adult romance.  The figure skating element is done really well which appealed to me since I tend to like books that have strong and athletic heroines.  I also liked that they break from the pattern I see emerging in New Adult books these days with the tortured main characters with tragic, dark pasts coming together to heal each other.” read more

J. Sterling – The Perfect Game Series Reading Order

<— Uber-angst, famous sports-star alert!! Well… this one, anyway. It made me wanna THROW my e-reader hard! Oh it gave me the “feels” alright (like swooney feels), but a few (er… many?) times the “feels” were so crazy I was growling in fury. Fun times! 😉 (here’s my review)

I still need to read #2 and #3 and guess what?! I can, ’cause the third and final book in this tumultuous “loving a famous guy” love-story has just been released (tons of great reviews on Amazon, already!!) read more

Book Review – Bound by Brenda Rothert

I had an incredible urge to read a “Hockey star” book when I saw this heartwarming (and crush-inducing) Buzzfeed post. Tell me that doesn’t give you the urge to indulge in a hockey-player romance read. 😉 And I remembered this new release/bargain book that caught my eye a couple of weeks ago (I commented saying it looked like it wanted to tear my heart out – and you know I love that!) so it’s been hovering in the top half of my TBR list.

Couple that, with these reader comments, and I was very excited to lose myself in something kind of like a rock-star, but just a different version. read more
