READER REQUEST: MARITAL STRIFE BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE!! One of my favorite heartbreak-y subjects that I LOVE to read and cry over (and fume over). And now, due to popular demand, we’re going to make a dedicated list. We had a few “mini lists” going, but this is our MEGA list!!!

Kandi Steiner – What He Doesn’t Know Duet Reading Order

THE DUET IS COMPLETE – and now it’s a trilogy – also complete!!! 😀 Oooooh it sounds INTENSE!!!!!! I can’t figure out exactly where the blurb is leading me, but it sounds SO ANGSTY and these covers have my heart! Gorgeous.

I hope the story is as emotionally heart wrenching and beautiful as these covers.

Nay: So I finished What He Doesn’t Know. I really enjoyed it. It was angsty, not quite as angsty as I’d hoped (I was missing a bit of character and story development), but I think the 2nd half of the duet is going to be the one to chew up your guts and spit them out–Yay! So only have to wait 10 more days. And I love the covers–I think I’m supposed to want her to be with the guy on the first cover, BUT I’m LURVing the Jared Letoishness of the guy on the second cover… read more

A. E. Murphy – Broken Series Reading Order

Oh WOW this one sounds so unique! and angsty and WOW!! And he’s got a phobia and now I’m SO intrigued!!!!

rominew: …one of my faves is BROKEN by A.E. Murphy. It’s gripping, with many twists and the author described the pain the main character was going through in such a way that I couldn’t help but feel for her. And just when I thought that there wouldn’t be more desolation, the second book proves you wrong: you empathize with somebody else.

Reader Favorites – Are you in the mood for a book that will make you cry?

Are you in the mood for an intense, pajama-top drenching sob fest? I know your instant reaction is GAH!! Noooooo!!! But you know so many of our absolute forever favorites included a deep, heaving cry. Those moments (and books) that we’ll never forget. Sometimes those are cathartic, you  know. It doesn’t always have to end sadly for one to have a good cry while reading. Right? 😉

Karen Cimms – Of Love and Madness Series Reading Order

<— SUPER INTENSE ROCK-STAR ANGSTY ROMANCE ALERT!!! My uber-angst/jaw-dropping romance loving book-twin (Amy) just ranted about how badly she wants to read this and yet… there’s SOMETHING about it (that she read, spoiler-wise) that is holding her back. AND STILL… she’s tempted.
And now… I’m intrigued. 😉

Nay: OMG, Maryse–I just finished a read-fest with At This Moment and the following two books, which is an epic saga about a rock star and the love of his life spanning 25 years. Talk about being put through the wringer and having your guts ripped out, chewed up and stomped on. That’s what this series did to me and I LOVED every minute of it! It was also VERY well written and edited. I’d be a happy, happy girl if I could read a series like this once a month! read more
