I read this book a couple of years ago about a girl that doesn’t know who her bio dad is.
When she gets stabbed outside the place she works at, her love interest (that is a grump) takes her to his apartment to look after her (they kinda were in a relationship but he ended it). She isn’t too happy about it and wants to go back to her apartment.
