Samantha Towle – The Alexandra Jones Series Reading Order

If you liked Samantha Towle’s “The Mighty Storm” ( 😉 considering the HUGE response it’s receiving right here on the blog, I would say, you sure did!!) I wanted to mention that she has another series out, too. Vampires, but supposedly just as intense!

I haven’t read these yet, but as much as I enjoyed the romantic angst in her rock star book, I’ll certainly give her vampires a go. I’ve been told that it has a sort of slow build up in the first half of book #1, but that it really picks up soon after that, and that we will be hooked. The second book in the series was consistent with the first in terms of my non-stop read-a-thon. Good flow, sarcastically witty heroine, and a hero (*ahem* or 2 😉 ) to swoon over.

But, do you remember how the last one ended? She made a deal with a demon. Well… I say she actually didn’t, but you know how demons are. You can never win with them. Full of shenanigans and malarky to get you all disocmbobulated and saying… “Wait. What? Wait. NO!” And then they’re all…. “Ah-ah-ah. Nope. You made the deal”, and now *poof* you’re in over your head in craziness. I hate when that happens. *grumbles* stupid demons… read more

Book Review – Dead, Undead or Somewhere In Between by J.A. Saare

Dead, Undead, or Somewhere In Between (Rhiannon’s Law Book 1)
Great intro to the series! I was quite happy to have decided on this one for my next read, and halfway through it, I knew I was in for the long haul. And there was no “putting it down”. I read this one straight through and didn’t look back.

Now it wasn’t necessarily a “5 star OMG *squeeee* read” for me, beccause, again… it’s an introduction to these new characters, and the world they live in. While I could certainly feel the tension mounting, and appreciate that I would probably fall head over heels with “Disco” soon enough, I was as tentative about the whole situation as Rhiannon was. But Disco is easy to love, let me tell you. The author’s writing had a nice flow and the internal thought processes and actual conversations were realistic, and these characters had that “real-feel” to them. read more

I’ve just downloaded “Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between” so I don’t have a personal *pre-squee* for you, but I thought I’d introduce this one to you via a silly video!
