J.R. Ward Releases the Lover Reborn Cover!!!

Lover Reborn: A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood (release date March 27th 2012)
Look at this gorgeous cover!! Tohr looks tortured and I can’t wait to go on his journey with him. Considering he’s one of the original Brothers, I’m hoping this feels like *home* again.

I hope it has that steamy-crass-bad-boy-heart-wrenching drama that I love so much when it comes to these guys!! I mean, of course each book always *does* but I’m hoping this one’ll be super intense. Like old-school BDB intense. Considering how much he’s been through, and the tragic turn of his life, all he’s lost… I think we’re in for something BIG. read more

Book Review – Sexiest Vampire Alive by Kerrelyn Sparks

Sexiest Vampire Alive (Love at Stake)
Cute, cute, cute!!! Loved it, but in a sweet, going-back-to-my-old-school-reading sort of way. Nice and familiar and cuddly. All of the love at first site attraction, the corny come-ons, the intense seduction, and the “I can’t love him cause he’s a vampire” stuff. But sometimes that kind of fluffy reading really refreshes a person. You know, the whole “too much of one thing” and all that. Makes one jaded. I found myself eye rolling more than sighing after too many paranormal romance “candies” in a row. But in spurts, it was just what I needed. After all of my recent (and delicious) dark reads, I needed something that didn’t freak me out too bad. Might even make my next dark drama even more agonizing. Like cleansing the palette 😉 read more

Another paranormal short story “trilogy” that I just found. Great prices too! The covers are nice n’ steamy, and I thought this reading order guide would look great on my blog 😉

About book #1:

Only a vampire is man enough to teach werewolves how to fight.

Pretty librarian Sugar wants her life to stay quiet. That’s hard enough when friends and neighbors turn into furry werewolves every full moon. But when a hot vampire gets involved, life’s bound to get complicated.

The Omegas have always been the pansies of the paranormal. Now Chicago’s top werewolf pack has issued them a life or death challenge. Their only option: hire a vampire warrior to teach them the moves. read more

Thanks to Angel for this recommendation!! She says: “… great series that I think you oughta read.”

About the series (as per the author):

“The Elemental Assassin books are set in the fictional Southern metropolis of Ashland, where Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina meet in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. The books focus on Gin Blanco, an assassin codenamed the Spider who runs a barbecue restaurant called the Pork Pit in her spare time. Gin is also an elemental or person who can control one of the four elements – Air, Fire, Ice, and Stone. Gin has the rare gift of being able to control two elements, Ice and Stone in her case. Besides elementals like Gin, Ashland is also home to giants, dwarves, and vampires.” read more
