Jamie’s looking for a specific genre, and while I DO have some favorites, and a category for it (I’ll link it below), I figured I’d open up her question the all of our fellow readers for their own recommendations. ‘Cause obviously I LOVE this genre too (I just realized I’ve quite a few, and loved them most of ’em like crazy). 😀
She asks:

Do you have a list of your favorite Time Travel books?
I was thinking of Outlander, Beyond the Highland Mist (Highlander Book 1) by Karen Marie Moning and The Fantasyland Series by Kristen Ashley.
Margie is looking for this older one, so *fingers crossed* that some of our old-school western romance die hards will know it!
She asks:
I’m trying to find a book.
It’s a modern western written in the 1980s – probably only published as a paperback.
A cantankerous old man sells his ranch to a widow with children just to spite his neighbor, a well to do rancher. The land sold was part of the rancher’s original holdings and he’s angry about the sale and tries to buy the property from the new owner.
Danielle needs our book help and this one deals with very dark subject matter (put a chill up my spine) so I’m putting a trigger warning right now.
The bright side? It sounds like one of personal growth and an HEA once the Hero comes into the picture, so at least there’s that.

I’ve been looking for it for years. I hope it’s as good as my mind keeps telling me it was. I read this book when I was 15/16 in 2010/2011.

When R.L. Mathewson sent me an early review copy of her latest release “Devastated” she included a warning. Just as the moody cover (and title) portray, she told me this one was somewhat darker (or more serious in nature) than her amazing comedy romances that we’ve gone so crazy for in the past.
So, I was fretting. Why? ‘Cause her love stories are totally my kind of “comedy romance”. Witty and gleeful and believable. She (er… I mean… her characters) are absolutely hilarious. From their quick-witted remarks and thought processes, to some of their not-so-smart fumbles and mistakes (that end up being amusing anyway), her books have me grinning, laughing and exhilarated.
