Following my heart, one book at a time...
FIGHTER book alert!! And Mertxe loved it!!
Mertxe: Dirty series was a 5 stars to me, one of my 2014 favorites. I love ALL Cheryl Mcintyre’s books!!!!!
About book #1:
Three. This is my number. It’s the exact sum of reasons I continue to go on.
One: To strengthen my body. Make it strong. Make it a machine. Make it so that what happened before can never, ever, happen again.
Two: To help others find their own strength so that what happened to me, what happened to my Olivia, doesn’t happen to them.
Each book in this series can be read as a standalone (even though it is stated that some characters re-appear in the books) and it just had a brand new release today!! Book #3 is now out and it’s about a cop that falls for a drug dealer’s girlfriend!! *whoooops!!!* and *squeeeeee!!!* <— That’s the one I want to start with… even though the first one sounds SO awesome too! In fact, Laura loved it!
Laura: Maryse u have to read all the pretty lies by m Leighton it’s the 1st in a new series u will love it!!! 21 year old with 3 older brothers and father who are all cops and overprotective geez it has it all!! Reignite (Extinguish Book 2) by J.M. Darhower <— OMG I LOVED BOOK #1!!!! And I had NO idea we were getting a second release. YAY ME!!!!! (Here’s my review of Extinguish). This one’s coming out October 13th 2014
*whooooo* —> Stepbrother Dearest is getting a TON of attention since it’s release yesterday… It’s already #2 in all of the Kindle category, and OMG I just LOVE the sound of all of that forbidenny feel… *rubs hands together with devilish glee* I’m so bad. 😉 Consider this one at the top of my TBR list.
Kandace: I just started Stepbrother Dearest…he’s kind of moody in a hot tattooed bad boy way.
The Wright Brother
I just had to give this new release a try when I realized it had a reclusive “deaf/colorblind” hero. I was already in love with the potential of that romantic angst, and so were so many in our reading crew!
Maryse: Oh wow, I bet this’ll be intense, so I’ve just got to “taste-test” this!!
MichelleS: …And the Wright Brother. OMG. I am such a sappy sucker for a guy who is deaf. Swoon. I don’t know why. Well, I do. But still… I can’t help it. That has to move up high on my TBR list.
