It’s all there. Don’t let the “YA” part fool you. This may not have detailed “steam” and the like, but it is 100% pure adult subject matter (even though she’s only 16). ‘Cause he’s an adult.

Book Review – Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett
Uncivilized
What a fun, super-sexy romantic romp!! Of course that blurb had me all sorts of excited… *gasp* Er… yeah. Well I mean not the “obvious” part of it (’cause it’s pretty dirty) *blush*. Tee hee!
But I meant by way of “anticipatory excitement” ’cause this definitely had a unique twist to it. She (an anthropologist) was going into the Amazonian rainforest to retrieve an American male (now an adult) that had been raised in a tribe since he was a small child. Very cool, right? I was imagining all sorts of fun scenarios by way of language barriers, social issues, and expectations. A bonding in time.
Book Review – Rule by Jay Crownover
Rule: A Marked Men Novel
An oldie but definite goodie that’s been floating around on my TBR list for a year now, and I finally read it! What took me so long… eh… who knows? Maybe it’s the cover. He looks… young. And kind of like my cousin or something. 😉
But wow, once I got over that aspect (I just re-invented him in my head), it ended up being everything I look for in a “book bad-boy”. It had all of the right touches. Steamy, slightly angsty, infuriating (oh he can be bad!!) but he’s also protective and deliciously alpha. And believable. Mind you the parents of both main characters were a bit over-the-top, but I went with it, because it helped cinch other parts of the story and emotional connection.
Book Review – Bright Side by Kim Holden

Welp. It was pretty fantastic.

*glares at all of you that recommended this!!* Glares? Thaaaaaaaaaaaat’s right!!! GLARES! 
(<— it was a much angrier-looking smiley, but “Bright Side” taught me not to indulge that kind of face and emotion, so… you know. It’s a “baby glare”).
Lin: You.guys!!! You must pick up Bright Side by Kim Holden. I’ve never ugly cried so much since I’ve read Arsen. What a beautiful book!! Make sure you have tissues ready!!
Book Review – Room 212 by Kate Stewart

Well well well! What do we have here? A total one-click winner (and bargain priced, at that!). Romantically angsty and tumultuous, but nothing too crazy. Well… hrmmm… crazy enough to have you furious and wanting to chuck your Kindle at times, but umm… just not unforgivable. Well… then again… 😉 Lets just say don’t get too comfortable, ’cause this love story takes plenty of emotional turns. Prepare for upheaval. Prepare to be pi$$ed! And prepare to encounter at least ONE scene in this book that will have you remembering your own “Once upon a time…” like that (and not always in a good way).
