The ULTIMATE NEW RELEASE LIST IS HERE!!! Eeeeeeeeep!! This is turning out to be one of the best book-weeks ever! It may not be the biggest, but it is SO LOADED IN HEAVY HITTERS I can’t catch my breath!!!!! I mean, not only are the new books intense (and by our favorites) but even the reader recommendations sound mind-blowing. We have plenty of choices today, and while we may be ping-ponging trying to choose one, we can’t go wrong!!

She betrays her biker boyfriend and he delivers her to the enemy), In Harmony by Emma Scott <— YES PLEASE!!! The rich girl and the boy from the wrong side of the tracks), The Lucky Ones by Tiffany Reisz (TIFFANY REISZ!!! She’s living with the perfect new family in the most perfect house and life… and then she’s taken…) oh and the one I’m reading now (and loving!!) – Allegedly (it’s also in the recommendations section… a psych thriller with a twist!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! I WISHED FOR IT AND NOW IT’S TRUE!!!!!! Okay confession… this is NOT an earlybird release, but this one goes on sale VERY rarely and I want to post it in case it’s only for today. I have been DYING to read this book, and now it is super-bargain priced, and guess what I’m reading next??!! SQUEEEEEE!!! I’m going in blind other than knowing how much Tasha loved it. It was on Tasha’s best of 2017 list and she says:
Tasha: This one was crazy. Crazy, crazy. Lol And thrilling and powerful. It put my nerves through the ringer! Mary’s narrative was extremely compelling. The only thing I could’ve done without, was the twist. I felt it took away from the message.”
“Someone needs to read this book ASAP. (Amy, Maryse a I know you two will love this one!) SO, so good and completely pucked up. The writing was exceptional. The characters voices on point, the story will keep you on the edge of your seat, and your emotions will be put through the ringer. I couldn’t put it down, but I couldn’t handle reading straight through either.
I wanted someone to hold my hand for sure, and I don’t think I’ve ever felt that way about a book before. It’s why I don’t watch scary movies anymore, it jacks my anxiety through the roof.
Don’t read reviews, I did read the blurb and that was just enough, but don’t spoil it for yourself. One part really made me mad, but I don’t want to say which. I’m sure it was added oomph for a lot of people. Still, this one makes my list of best books for 2017!

Behind the Bars (Music Street Series) by Brittainy C. Cherry <— RECENT RELEASE & THE 5-STAR, STAR OF THE SHOW TODAY!!!! A few members of our book-crew have delved in and are losing their minds for this one!
Leslie M: …if you are looking for an emotional read that is music themed, Behind the Bars by Brittainy Cherry was gutt wrenchingly fabulous! Ok, I know what you all are thinking. “Oh, Leslie rec’d Behind the Bars…must be an easy-breezy read.” It is not! In fact when you read it, you will scratch your head and think “Leslie liked this tear-jerker???”
Its def not my typical book, it was very difficult to read, super emotional but I LOVED EVERY SINGLE WORD. I fell HARD for Elliot. I loved the h too and so many of the characters. Her step dad, Elliots mom, sis and uncle. Gah!!! I am getting emotional just thinking about it. It was a beautiful story and will go down as an all time fave for me.
Jean: LESLIE!!!!! YOU WERE SO RIGHT ABOUT BEHIND THE BARS!!!! YES, I’M SCREAMING!! YOU GUYS HAVE TO READ IT…..JUST SIMPLY AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! …Amazing! You MUST read this book! It’s heartwrenching and beautiful and gah!!!! Just read it! Seriously!
Leslie: Ok, so Jean is gushing to me about how much she loved Behind the Bars and instead of squeeing what do I do? Bawl! Yup, cried like a baby remembering the emotions of that beautifully heartbreaking story. Jeesh! I need to get a grip. And yes, everyone who likes the tearjerkers needs to read it.
Melinda: I read Leslie’s recommendation and it was awesome so do yourself a favour and read “ Behind the Bars (music street series)”by Brittany Cherry. But it might make you cry. Right Leslie? And it’s a bully book, but the writing is soooo good. A very emotional read. I LOVED IT. 5 whooping big stars.
Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – February 6th 2018
HAPPY NEW RELEASE DAY!!!!! It’s a shorter list today, but still has lots of tempting books… in fact, that one there to the left (The Great Alone) gave me the ultimate blurb jolt. HOLY MOLY that one HAS to be mine. I can just imagine…
But that’s not the only blurb-jolty one. 😉 I also extra-like the sound of these… Shopping for Love (Renee Carlinos lates, and she’s falling for her client’s man!! OH OH!! Forbidenny!!!), From Lukov with Love (Mariana Zapata latest is back on the list because YES PLEASE!!!! And my fellow readers are LOVING it), OF COURSE The Great Alone: A Novel by Kristin Hannah (that blurb has my heart racing… he moves his family to Alaska live off the grid because he has PTSD as a new start, and he begins to unravel… oh boy, and now she and her mom are pretty much alone out there. YIKES!!! MINE!!!), Diesel: Satan’s Fury MC (she has an accident and ends up at this MC while they care for her), Bad Wolf (her neighbor is a bad guy, but she can’t resist him…), Sawyer Bennett’s latest (Reed – her new neighbor is a famous hockey star!! Eeeeeeep! Imagine??), How the Light Gets In (L.H. Cosway’s duet is now complete!!), Midnight Valentine (OMG another huge blurb-jolt, and I can’t even figure out the most intriguing part of the blurb to post… it’s ALL awesome-sounding… but anyway, she’s driving her husband, and years later as she tries to start over, she meets him, and he hates her immediately…) and OMG!!!! THIS ONE! Killing Hearts <— sounds like a creepy dark read. He’s coming for her once he gets out of prison, but it’s the blurb and cover that gave me chills… 😉
