Good morning and Happy Monday everyone!! Some great early birds just went live and I’m working on this list as we speak (so checking back). It’s not done yet. 😉
But first… THREE THINGS:
1.) I’ve been putting fresh sunflowers on my new dining room set and I am IN LOVE with that look. Bright and cheery and so perfect for the warm theme of that room.
2.) Just bought fake tulips (this color and this color) for the table when I don’t have time to pick up fresh batches of sunflowers after they die (they last about a week). I’ll always need flowers ’cause they make me smile. GAH!! I hope they are as pretty as the reviews say they are ’cause I’m not much of a fake flower girl… we’ll see. 😉
3.) Mondays off are very nice… I get to catch up a little more on the stuff I need to do. I’m going to make pork tenderloin in the oven with roasted brussels sprouts, and greek green beans in my Instant Pot. And now…

TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WE FOUND FOR THE WEEKEND
!!
The Son & His Hope by Pepper Winters <— WE HAVE FEEDBACK!!! Stacey already declares this, one of her best of 2019!!
Stacey: So the Son and his Hope……yeah I think that was the first time I have ever been scared and apprehensive to start a book. After the Ribbon Duet devastated me I wasnt sure what to expect. As per usual Pepper gave us ALL of the FEELS!!! You feel the good, the bad, and everything in between. I think I was fighting tears at 5% if that tells you anything. Its raw, emotional, and gut-wrenching. Definite Best of 2019 for me!
Mafia Love (The Accidental Mafia Queen Book 3) by Khardine Gray <— LIVE!! MAFIA ROMANCE ALERT!! She was a cop and he was a monster… “…I knew I would lose my soul when I fell for Luc. I was a cop, and he was a mobster. Love lured me to the dark side. We could pretend to be whoever we wanted to be, but truth was truth...”- Hard, Fast and Madly: Part 2 (The Dark and Damaged Hearts Series Book 8) by Whitley Cox
- Freefall: A Hollywood Romance by Harley Rayne <— LIVE!! FAKE BOYFRIEND ALERT!! “…When I meet New Zealand film-star and stuntman Jack Mitchell for the first time, he’s wearing nothing but a towel and a cocky smile. Fake boyfriend? Real headache. If I play the part of his girlfriend, I walk away with bonus big enough to take care of my family…but will it cost me my heart in the process?”
The Right Man by Michelle Mankin <— LIVE!! MICHELLE MANKIN ALERT!! BAD BOY ROCK STAR…. and she’s a prostitute!! “...A once upon a time with a hooker who used to be a good girl and a bad boy lead singer living a lie. Two lost and lonely souls and a chance encounter on a dark street corner in LA…”- Puck Me Secretly: An Enemies-To-Lovers Sports Romance (A Vancouver Wolves Hockey Romance Book 1) by Odette Stone <— HOCKEY STAR ALERT & Jan enjoyed it!
Jan: Just read a hockey romance recently recced on here. Puck Me Secretly by Odette Stone. Silly book title, but a nice read. New author to me, too.
Milo (Finding Home Book 2) by Lily Morton <— LIVE!! M/M ROMANCE ALERT!! “…just as Milo makes the decision to move on from his hopeless crush, he and Niall are thrown into close contact, and for the first time ever Niall seems to be returning his interest….”- Snowballs For My Valentine (Illicit Heat Book 4) by Ann Lister <— LIVE!! M/M ROMANCE ALERT!!
- Layla Frost and Brynne Asher <— IF YOU ARE A KRISTEN ASHLEY FAN, Terri recommends these authors!
Terri: …They are both really good authors with alpha males. Layla Frost just released Stoned (The Four Book 2) yesterday, which is book 2 in her paranormal/mystery like series. She has a mafia book, and another series about mechanic/bikers.
Brynne Asher has a series about the Carpino family and also another one about military men (This one is my favourite, but I love the Carpiono’s as well). If you are a KA fan, then you will most likely love both of these authors.
Latest Romance Book Releases – February 12th 2019
<— HAPPY TUESDAY NEW RELEASE DAY and look what just went LIVE!!!!! :D!!!
Michelle S: A Boy & His Hope is mine mine mine. Ribbon Duet was utterly unforgettable. And it’s a nice big book. I hate short books. Happy day.
P.S. I’m still working on today’s list but I had to post this immediately due to that one there on the left. 😉 I know so many were waiting on pins and needles for it’s release. More to follow…

Monday Early Bird Book Releases + some that are going live at midnight! 02-11-19

Good morning and Happy Monday everyone!! The early bird book releases are exciting today!! Some angsty-sounding choices (unrequited love!!) and dark reads (like that one to the left)! 😀 Plus a few of our favorite authors in the bunch too.
But first… Three Things:
1.) I cooked up a storm yesterday now that I can have groceries again (I have my fridge and I LOVE IT!! It’s got TONS of space in it even if it is a side-by-side). It felt so good to get back to my routine. 🙂
2.) I started watching “Abducted in Plain Sight” yesterday on Netflix and OMG that is just INSANE!!! How the parents allowed this predator so close to their daughter is so scary.
3.) I finished CURVEBALL over the weekend and I loved it! It’s not too crazy or angsty, but has plenty of everything to keep it interesting – she’s the town pariah, and he’s the new firefighter in town and her best friend sets her sights on him. Eeeeep! Oh yes it throws us a few curveballs, for sure! I’d say it has almost has a “Devney Perry” feel to it. HERE’S MY REVIEW.

Friday Finds & Reader Recommendations – 02-08-19
First… HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELA!!!!!! She’s one of our long-time book-crew members, she’s hilarious, and loves to “cap-lock-scream” at us when she’s excited about a book. I LOVE THAT about her.
Also… MY FRIDGE IS COMING TODAY!! I’m excited. 😀 Finally, I can go grocery shopping again. I’ve been surviving on mini-meals and stuff I can grab quick and not have to keep for later. It’s incredible how much we can take our appliances for granted until we lose one. Yikes!!
ANNNNND: bev has a buddy-read request, and both sound perfect! I actually already have the first book she suggests! 😀 She asks:
