IT’S TIME FOR INSTALLMENT #3 of our official Throwback Thursday post. Apparently, I’ve always had a soft spot for forbidden love… because three posts from this day in past years all fall squarely into the we-shouldn’t-but-we-did category.
YES PLEASE!!! BUT IN BOOKS!!! Always only IN BOOKS!!! LOL!!!
Grey: I am a bit of a “mood reader”; bottom line, if I’m reading a forbidden love story, I want to feel the angst, give me those pretzel tummy feels… And what’s the reason why it’s forbidden, blur the lines a bit, make me ache with the main character.
Joy: I started reading all this “Taboo Romance”. One of the book that is an all time favorite for me in this category is by Tabitha Suzuma (FORBIDDEN). It is a heart wrenching story and it touched me so deeply, so much that I felt overwhelmed with those emotions. This book I highly recommended too.
Jean: The true love/forbidden love….ugh my heart.
And now… a blast from our book past!
Reader Favorites – Christina’s Top Fifteen Books of 2019 List <— January 15 2020
Christina: …here is a list of my 2019 favorites! Looking back I’m impressed with how many are on this list considering I didn’t read as much as I wanted last year!
Reader Favorites – D.G.’s Best Books of 2019 List (and here’s a highlight from one of her forbiddeny-favorites!!) <— January 15 2020
D.G.: OK….I know this sounds so forbidden and all kind of ways wrong…but there was a very slow burn. So slow that you kinda fell with her. Not justifying anything but she was not what you would envision as the other woman. I truly feel like he falls for her at a deeper level.
Neither of them set out looking for this relationship but as you move deeper into the book all things are not as they seem.
Leslie M: Ooooooh…I am very intrigued by Becoming His Mistress.
Reader Favorites – Trisha’s 2016 Top 10 List <— January 15 2017

…Ok those were my top ten from 2016, I can’t wait for what 2017 brings me. ❤❤

Reader Favorites – Cheryl’s Top 15 Reads for 2015 <— January 15 2016
Cheryl: “Ok, hard to narrow down my 2015- 5 star reads since read about 225 books (which is sadly down from 300+ books read last year)!!! From what I can remember…
In no particular order:”

Maryse: I’m halfway through and still absolutely hooked. Even more so now. I think I know… ohhhhh yesssss, I think I know what I’m in for. It’s crying time again. I *think*.

I still cry even now whenever I thumb through the pages again. It’s such a tear jerker! I absolutely loved Jess and Alex! I have never been moved so strongly by a book before!

Lily’s Book Review – How I Found the Perfect Dress by Maryrose Wood <— January 15 2011
Lily: This was a cute, sweet, story that was a pleasure to read. It was just light enough to help me get through these hard times between Barrons (Fever Series) and Jamie (Outlander) to make me feel good.
💜 Throwback Thursday is a weekly feature on Maryse.net, where I revisit past posts from that same day in my entire blog history.
