- Finding Forever: in Saddleback Ridge by Milan Watson <— SUPER-BARGAIN TODAY!!
- MONY’S LATEST BOOK UPDATE/RECOMMENDATIONS!!
Mony: Few books I really liked
Against A Wall by Cate C. Wells – This book was a wonderful surprise. Expected a traditional bully or an enemies-to-lovers story. But this was so much more. Depth, good writing, and an “adorably confused alpha”. Great mountain setting too. 5★
Kingdom Fall by A. Zavarelli – A very good mafia romance. (Although not my fave trope, I really liked this one.) Sizzle, chemistry and hot hot alpha, mafia king Alessio. Maybe too many plot twists but let’s just focus on Alessio. LOL 4.5★
After reading KF I just couldn’t help myself and HAD to read Maddest Obsession by Danielle Lori. The quirky banter and one of the edgiest alphas I’ve come across. OMG! 5+++★
A few more reads…
King’s Captive by Amber A. Bardan – A really good captivity romance puzzle. 4.5★
First Touch and Last Kiss (duet) by Laurelin Paige– An edgy story about Emily who’s pursuing the disappearance of her best friend & believes Reece, a hot & mistrusting mafia guy, may have played a role. First Touch 5★ & Last Kiss 3.5-4★
You Can Run (Laurel Snow #1) by Rebecca Zanetti – Intriguing & well-done whodunnit plot, lots of action, smart FBI woman, hot elusive ranger guy, and some wonderful offbeat characters. 5★
- Hotshot by Ahren Sanders <— AIMEE LOVED THIS ONE!!
Aimee: I finished a good one ! Hot Shot. By: Ahren Sanders 4 1/2* had a strong Male lead which I loved. Sometimes when they do I story about them getting another girl pregnant they become b*tch a*ses who have to come crawling back…. But he owned it and didn’t take any crap. The female lead was also good too.
- More Than This by Jay McLean <— AND AIMEE ENJOYED THIS ONE TOO!
Aimee: I just finished a Jay McLean book! More Than This – A 4 star for me. I felt that the tragedy should have been more devastating than the way it was written. It did finish out strong. Will be listening to the second one in this series!

Just cracked open Waking Olivia I saw a good review of it recently. It’s college track star and coach which is iffy, but not really an age gap. It has me a little curious because the heroine sleep runs instead of sleep walks.
Also, on the short TBR is The Spanish Love Deception which got some buzz last year and is supposed to be a grumpy/sunshine read.
And Her Night With The Duke. It was a Fated Mates best of for 2021 and they are going to have a discussion podcast of it, so want to read it before then.
And last is a manga that I just think the cover is so cute. Daily Report About My Witch Senpai is that one.

Sleep runs!!! That sounds like it will be a unique take!!!
I love this whole list, Bev!!! I think I’m gonna post it as a “Bev is interested in these today)… section.
🤣
I really liked Waking Olivia!
SO many love that author!!! She’s awesome.
That’s good to know. The review I heard said that she really got the running aspect correct. Though I know nothing about running, it is always nice when I can believe what the character is feeling or doing.
Still reading The Paris Apartment, fingers crossed I finish this weekend. I’ve had some success lately with listening to a few podcasts, so am listening to this one now, https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/case-closed/id1449997236?i=1000554070255. I remember Jar of Hearts getting a lot of love and since I don’t have a lot of success with the commitment or attention span for an audiobook, I thought this would be fun to try. And then I’ll be in the know on the book! Lol
