3. Drowning Instinct (Fiction – Young Adult) by Ilsa J. Bick <— TEACHER STUDENT THRILLER ALERT! This one has come back into rotation ’cause it’s just awesome and thrilling and now a few in our crew are reading it. Amy and I loved it like crazy way back when. 😉 Amy: “Drowning Instinct…holy moly, I am so not kidding when I say that it is different from all of the other teacher-student books. I started it at one point and then stopped (I was probably in a mood), but when Maryse reviewed it I had to go back and BAM! It kicked my mind’s a$$. And my heart’s a$$. And my a$$. In other words, it was perfect. “
4. All That Glitters Duet: Diamonds & Gold by K.A. Linde <— GOLD-DIGGER ALERT! Tessa highly recommends this brand new bargain priced two-book bundle (’cause #3 is coming out soon!) She says: “Read All That Glitters Set people. It’s just good.”
5. Every Ugly Word by Aimee L. Salter <— UBER-ANGST ALERT! Amy is losing her mind over this one!! And I LOVE when that happens. She says: “EUW is so freaking…scratch that, F&$#ING intense with what she is dealing with that the whole 17-year-old thing doesn’t even matter. I’m a basket case right now, and you KNOW how much it takes for a book to do that to me. But I’m loving it!!” and she also tells us: “It has me feeling all kinds of intense feels, much like Therapy did. She has an “older self” that she sees in the mirror who tries to guide her without telling her exactly what will happen (and her older self appears to be quite a mess), and it has before and after alternating segments…before, when she was bullied mercilessly and her best/only friend (who she secretly loves) refuses to see the extent of it because he is friends with them, and then after, where something horrible has happened. Let me tell you, I need those “after” segments to break up the anxiety-inducing “before” segments…“

There’s SO much more to her… “so much more than the oppressive wedding band that adorns my finger–the same band that each of my sister wives wear. So much more. To protest would be sinful. I must keep sweet, that is my duty.“
8. Dry: A Memoir by Augusten Burroughs <— SUPER-SALE on this one today! I flipped over this author years ago with his other book “Running with Scissors: A Memoir” (<–it’s the one I walked through all of Busch Gardens with, reading and not actually seeing the theme park. LOL!!!) Nobody could have tons me away, so I am intrigued with this one!!
9. Ryker: A Cold Fury Hockey Novel (Carolina Cold Fury Hockey) by Saywer Bennett <— HOCKEY PLAYER ALERT and it’s super-bargain priced! “…since his wife left him, Ryker has been balancing life as a pro-hockey star and a single parent to two daughters.
