Crowβs Row
Another book, another winner! And I know it’s a winner because I’ve been in a stupor all day. Moping. I’ve been thinking about these characters,Β rehashing scenes, using my own “imagination” for a few *ahem* (hee hee!!), laughing to myself over a specific ruined Maserati scene. I’ve been speculating… daydreaming if you will, about the upcoming second book, allllll day. I’ve been trying to discuss the book with my husband, dropping little scene hints, hoping that he’d indulge me, and finally ask me to tell him alllllll about it..

Book Review – Sempre (Forever) by JM Darhower
Sempre (Forever)
I received fourΒ separate recommendations for this one within a week. THAT caught my attention and even though the cover wouldn’t have intrigued me off the bat (I’m not usually into murder mysteries, and this one *looked* like it might have been one), I set aside my reservations and immediately moved it to the top of my reading list.
Missy: “The other book for me that has the wow effect was Sempre (forever) by J.M Darhower. Now that was a book that made my heart do flips.”
Book Review – Comfort Object by Annabel Joseph
Comfort Object (Comfort series)
Well this was fun in a “can’t-put-it-down-even-though-I’m-cringing-and-so-often-appalled” kind of way! WARNING. This book is not for everyone. I had mixed reactions from some of my reader friends (some who really enjoyed it and some who hated the “hero” far too much to enjoy it). And while I can agree that this kind of bad-boy would probably have anyone running for the hills, in real life (he’s just so UGH!!!!), I will admit from the safety of my couch, I read through it like a fiend. I just had to see where this was going, and how it was going to end. But please. Don’t go into this book lightly. As I re-read some scenes for this review, I’m back to being appalled again. All in one sitting, you get the whole effect, but piecing it out like this… YIKES!!!
