<— One of my new “best book ever” books. OMG I am OBSESSED with this story, and those who recommended it to me were SO right. Absolutely engrossing. I LOVED IT!

Hannah: You must read Surviving Raine by Shay Savage. Period. Seriously, it is that good. I was having major issues with finding a book (I have become super picky) and the fifty-shades wannabes books and predictable romantic dramas simply weren’t doing it for me. I think I have read to many of these books, because I see, to be able to predict the events coming on, thus the read feels pointless and I cannot become engaged in it. Surviving Raine is dark and twisted and everything I secretly craved. read more

Okay this is one that I truly couldn’t even begin to guess at (almost sounds like a superhero book)!

Okay… how to start this review other than with, my first reaction upon ending the book. “What the…? O.M.G!” And then, I did a quick search for a certain name to confirm what just happened… happened. And then I repeated it. “O.M.G!”

This is NOT a love story. Or maybe it is… or I dunno? I’m a mess. This is like a Lifetime movie on steroids. It’s twisted, it’s scary, it’s just… it’s a crazy story and exactly the kind of thing I love to read when I need that jolt. It’s about obsession, control, lack of control, being forced to surrender the most basic thing that we take for granted. Ourselves. Our choices. Our freedoms. And the “hero” or I should say anti-hero? Actually no. The villain. That seemingly perfect, gorgeous wealthy tycoon that has it all, but that is obviously so broken. read more

Kristen Ashley – The Fantasyland Series Reading Order

I am in a serious mood for a Kristen Ashley read these days. There is still tons to choose from in her repertoire that I haven’t read yet, and am thinking this sounds good!!

Talltree: Wildest Dreams (Fantasyland) by Kristen Ashley… VERY hot , lots of fantasy and Finnie is amazing! Frey was wonderful, an alpha who adores and cherishes Finnie. Loved everything about the book (except 1 tiny thing which bugged me , but I’ll not bore you with it – its nothing that would reduce your enjoyment of this fantasy romance) read more

Book Review – Comfort Object by Annabel Joseph

Well this was fun in a “can’t-put-it-down-even-though-I’m-cringing-and-so-often-appalled” kind of way! WARNING. This book is not for everyone. I had mixed reactions from some of my reader friends (some who really enjoyed it and some who hated the “hero” far too much to enjoy it). And while I can agree that this kind of bad-boy would probably have anyone running for the hills, in real life (he’s just so UGH!!!!), I will admit from the safety of my couch, I read through it like a fiend. I just had to see where this was going, and how it was going to end. But please. Don’t go into this book lightly. As I re-read some scenes for this review, I’m back to being appalled again. All in one sitting, you get the whole effect, but piecing it out like this… YIKES!!! read more
