Kate Stewart – Balls in Play Series Reading Order

April 2, 2018 By Maryse 3 Comments

BASEBALL STAR ROMANCE ALERT!! SQUEEE!!!! I’m a HUGE fan of this author, and Nay found out that book #3 in this series just went live. 😀 I read #1 and enjoyed it (in fact, here’s my book review), so I just HAD to post this series reading order – now that it is a series (although they CAN be read as standalones).
While I’m actually hooked on this author tearing my heart out with her more-angsty love stories, this one is a fun and lighthearted romance read.

Nay: …her 3rd book in the Balls in Play series, a novella titled Sweeping the Series, came out last week, and the first two books in the series are currently on sale. They’ve been on sale since 3/26, so I’m not sure how much longer it’s going to last. I think I need to read this series! …I want to eventually read every one of her books because her writing is just so awesome. read more

Linda: My latest 5***** read is Crank by Adriana Locke. Looved the writing!! Loooved the cast of characters!! Looved the dual pov!! Highly recommend!! ** cross my heart** you will love it too!! One click already!!! read more

TARA SIVEC ALERT!!
<— Hilarious author with steamy romance, and how can we possibly resist this one? Plus, book #2 AND #3 are already up for preorder! 😀

Leslie M: New Tara Sivec series?!? Gimme gimme!!!

About book #1:

Once upon a time Cynthia was the perfect housewife. Between being the President of the PTA and keeping her home spotless without a hair (or her pearls) out of place, her life was a dream come true. Her husband was once her knight in shining armor, but now he’s run off with all their money…and the babysitter. read more

Book Review – Worth It by S.M. Shade and C.M. Owens

Worth It
<— LOL!!!! CUUUUUTE!!!! !!!! Totally cute, but trust me, there’s nothing “sweet” about this story. It’s a laugh-out-loud (lots of LOL’ing) with a large side of “crude and obnoxious” (yet funny) behavior.

In fact, *ahem* while it’s not sweet at all, the overall feel I had when I hit then end (and read the additional short story at the very very end) had me giggling, left me with a huge grin on my face and thinking… “CUTE!!!!!” read more

Rachel Higginson – Opposites Attract Series Reading Order

July 28, 2017 By Maryse 1 Comment

<— OMG!! THIS IS A SUPER FUNNY, and yet swoon-worthy romance series that is right up my alley! That book right there to the left? HAD ME HOOKED. Total 5 stars from me (my review).

Maryse: The Opposite of You did not have any kind of wallop, or twist or major angst, or anything crazy in the least. But what it felt like to me, was solid writing with that realistic, fun, “adult” (or should I say “new adult”) feel from way back when they were all so awesome.

And entirely from her POV so it kept me always “feeling” like her, and worried, or crushing, or fuming that felt just so natural to me. And her “issue” that was sort of the “scary part” was one that made sense to me, and that many women experience. read more
