Otherwise Unharmed (Evan Arden)
*spoiler alert* While I pretty much wrote this review “in code” (no outright spoilers below) 😉 I still feel the need to have anyone who hasn’t read the earlier installments in the series to avoid this review. Instead, I suggest you consult the Evan Arden Series Reading Order (yes they MUST be read in order as this story is a progression in his “bad-guy” life, and this book is the conclusion to the series), and maybe read the review of book #1 (Otherwise Alone). As a whole? A GREAT GREAT series. I LOVED it!

Kit Rocha – Beyond Series Reading Order
<— I had quite the “hot under the collar” reaction to this “bad-ass” gang/cage fighting/post-apocalyptic book a while back (see my review), and so did many of you! In fact, your reactions had me giggling and blushing, and really, I couldn’t have said it any better myself.
Anne Marie: I just finished this book and wow! I’m speechless. I mean, yeah that was pretty hot. Lol. It definitely had me blushing. Another great read.
Lindsey: Omg! I’m half way through, and it’s an anarchical post apocalyptic slutfest. I love it. Thanks for another great reccomendation.
Shay Savage – Evan Arden Series Reading Order
Since I fell so hard in love with Bastian from this author’s book “Surviving Raine” I’ve been hearing GREAT things about another one of her series. THIS one! I hear these are unputtdownable!!! So I read the prequel last night (only 50-something pages) and it was steeeamy and very very good. 🙂 Prompted me to immediately start the official book #1 and so far, so good! YAY ME!!
Joanna OMFG… I have discovered Shay Savage and I have fallen in love!!!! I read a novella (Otherwise Alone) by her last night and it sucked me in so hard I immediately downloaded the sequel, “Otherwise Occupied.” Then I read it in one sitting. Then I downloaded her book “Surviving Raine” and read through half of it. Yes, my dears… I read a novella, a full book (and not a super short one) and half of another in one sitting last night. I’m in love.
Julia Sykes – Impossible Series Reading Order
<—- Oh look you guys!! Er…. well, I mean, only look if you’re one of those that like the darker kidnappy books. 😉 This appears to be one of ’em! It was on one of my Friday bargain deals posts, and now it’s a series that’s 3 books long. Bad guy criminals, one’s shot and the other kidnaps a doctor and forces her to fix him. And then… she’s not allowed to go. GAH! (and oooohhh I wonder what happens?!). I shall find out soon enough, as I have the first one in my iPad.
Book Review – Mafia Captive by Kitty Thomas
Mafia Captive
I haven’t read all of Kitty Thomas’s books yet, but I’m already a HUGE fan. There’s a certain addictive quality to her writing and her dark tales that ensure I will read every single Kitty book out of her repertoire (and the sooner, the better). I just can’t get enough. Plus!! She’s one of “my firsts” (see my review for Comfort Food – I had never read anything like that before and was torn as to what I was feeling). It was my first super-dark-read with a side of questionable romantic connection and unnerving emotion, and I was… bonding with the monster!!? I was experiencing Stockholm Syndrome via a book! GAH!!! I couldn’t believe it (and yet I was titillated!)
