Evermore: The Immortals
I read this one in justΒ two evenings and it was just what I needed to get a little “break” from the intensity of the Outlander series I’ve been involved in. While it didn’t blow me away, it had a bit of everything to keep me interested. A little personal (and warranted) angst, a love interest that ends up causing even more angst, some questionable behavior (that is never answered until the end – so it keeps you guessing), and of course, plenty of paranormal activity π Be forewarned, it is a YA series, so a lot of the drama is due to personal inexperience and typical teenage hormones, and you get the usual “mean girls” cattiness, but I always get a kick out of those things (now thatΒ I don’t have to suffer them).

Becca Fitzpatrick – Hush Hush Saga Series Reading Order
As per the author’s website:
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She’s never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.
But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora’s not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can’t decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide…

Book Review – Kiss of a Demon King by Kresley Cole
Kiss of a Demon King
<——- Woooohooo *hot*! Book six in the series takes us on a journey through Rydstrom Woede’s struggle to get his crown back (he’s a Demon King…or was…), and the one woman who intends to derail his plans.
This story takes place at exactly the same time as Cadeon and Holly’s did. While those two travelled together to retrieve a special sword, Rydstrom was tricked and being held captive by a beautiful, but evil, witch (woops – excuse me…that should be “Sorceress”…they’re different… I don’t know… π ).
