Book Review – Eden by Jamie McGuire

Eden (book #3 in the Providence series)
Note: While I tried to keep this review spoiler free (and tried not to talk too much about what happens in this one, exactly), I would recommend those who are new to the series to not read this review yet. Instead, check out my review for book#1 (and the reading order: Providence Trilogy Reading Order).

*squeeeeeee!!!* For those of you who have read this, y’all already know why I’m squee-ing!! The magnificent Jamie McGuire sent me a review copy, and I was delightfully surprised when *ahem* “Aunt Maryse” attended a certain bea-u-ti-ful wedding, in this very book. —–> ME!!! I’m “Aunt Maryse”!! <—– I couldn’t help but grin like crazy and giggle and point it out to my husband like… a million times when I read my “cameo”. Tee hee! I mean.. okay maybe it’s not “me” per se… it is Jared’s aunt (from his human side), but still. How. Cool. Is. That!? read more

Loved the first two books!! Angels, demons and humans that are the key to something BIG!! Nina’s “normal” world will never be what it once was, once Jared makes his way into her life, but no matter what danger is lurking in the background, the underlying emotional tug of war between two very worthy men remains in the forefront. Fate plays a HUGE role in this series, in fact, it’s based on it. But what if these very characters are misunderstanding “fate” and possibly harming themselves in the process?  This one is full of sweet, romantic and downright heartbreaking moments between two star-crossed lovers that were never meant to be… or were they? read more

I’m back from my weekend biz trip!! Ahhhh so nice to be home. I had a blast, but I’m a bit discombobulated. I haven’t read since Thursday. Wednesday? Wayyyy too long, and my imagination is broke. Haven’t blogged much either, and I can’t wait to get back to both. I’m sort of a routine girl, and my routine is way off. read more
