FIRST OFF!!! GO IN BLIND – not even the synopsis – if you’re okay with (and even LOVE) INTENSE, good or bad SURPRISES!!! Even skip over my review altogether and just go read it for an unforgettable story. 😉

This was my selection in this month’s “Amazon First” read that I jumped on due to the recommendations and all of those incredible reviews. The enthusiasm for it, cinched it for me and because of that, I didn’t even read the reviews (or the synopsis). I knew it was a “women’s romance/thriller” and that was good enough for me. I wanted to go in blind, and had no clue what I was in for, and was delighted!! AND!! I got to buddy-read it with my book twin! read more

Separated or Divorced Second Chance Romance Book Recommendations

SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE WITH DIVORCED OR SEPARATED COUPLES RECOMMENDATIONS!! Ooooh one of my favorite tropes. Totally my catnip ’cause of all of the emotional angst potential.

These stories run the gamut of all sorts of romance drama (from unrequited love, to more common marital strife issues, growing apart due to resentments, secrets, and life stresses… to some with PTSD, all the way to infidelity issues), and this list promises to tear our hearts out… and despite all odds, possibly mend ’em, too (hence, the “second chance romance” part). 😉 Sometimes love really IS enough. read more

Okay so I say book review, but this is actually my very first fictional audiobook that I’ve listened to in its entirety (and on top of that – lucky me – ’cause she’s one of my favorite authors ever). This one came HIGHLY recommended, and I knew I was in for some serious drama so I one-clicked it with glee!!!

Robin: This was also a great book on audible. Probably the best I’ve listened to. The narrators (there are a few) did an exceptional job. read more
