Hey maryse,
I just remembered another book that I would love to find. I read a snippet of this in the back of a magazine. Do you remember when cosmopolitan or People magazine used to have the snippet of the book they were advertising? That’s where this one comes from.
This book is about a woman in her late 20s to late 30s. She falls for this detective while being protected from a serial killer. Somehow or another the detective finding out that the killer is going to come after the woman. And they put her up in a hotel with personal protection from this detective / police officer.
Guest Review (my sister!!) – Final Girls by Riley Sager
My sister just got back from an amazing vacation in Cuba and she just sent me this fun note (and TWO reviews!!) Both of these books sound right up my psych-thriller alley AND SHE LOVED THEM!!! Catherine Cowles – Sutter Lake Series Reading Order
SMALL TOWN ROMANCE ALERT!! A new-to-me series (that one of my favorite authors – Devney Perry – is loving) and I HAD to investigate!! This one sounds heartwarming and right up our emotional alley! Rugged cops, and the women starting over in a new place… YES PLEASE!! AND!! Book #2 is up for preorder. 😀
Kathy: I just read Beautifully Broken Pieces (Sutter Lake Series) by Catherine Cowles. It was my first book that I have read by her. I definitely would recommend it! I hate comparing another author to another but if you like Devney Perry, you will enjoy this book.

I’m in search of a book, at this point just to make sure I hadn’t imagined it because no one seems to remember it.
I *think* I read this a few years ago but I’m not positive on the timeline.
I can only really remember one scene, the h is athletic but she’s also very competitive to the point that she wasn’t allowed to play competitive sports in school because of her antics.
