NOTE: LATEST UPDATE on this list —> September 5th 2015! (see them below, in the reader recommendations section – 37 new suggestions!) 🙂 This is a work in progress. I will personally “taste-test” each book (hehe) that makes this list before I add it to the main part. These are my favorite lists to make, but this one’s been hard on me!! There have been many recommendations and suggestions (keep ’em coming!) but not all have given me that “Fifty” feel, ya know? I mean… come on… What the heck can live up to Fifty?? It’s been said many times, that Fifty’s ruined us for all others.
what to read after fifty shades
Looking for something that gives you that “Fifty Shades” *oomph*. This. Is. It! I have been searching high and low for months now, and have found some “similar” books, but none were as intense. This one is, and my Facebook group would agree:
Jenny: Maryse, finished Bared to You and dare I say it’s a squeeeeeeeeee!!!!! Yep, you heard me! All of us girls have read it/reading it and it’s unanimous…..we ♥ this book. Gideon is to die for and hot as hell…yummm. He could very well be one of my faves and earns a ♥♥. Eva is one fiesty, sexy heroine! These two sizzle and I am hanging out for book 2! I need it now!
Wait. I just realized… I still have no idea what “Unsticky” means. What the heck is unsticky? Interesting title for sure but it seems I may have missed the hidden meaning. *shrug* Ah well. The title might be convoluted, but the book was straightforward, and an easy read. Interesting enough to hold my interest, but I was able to put it down.
So was it like the Fifty Shades trilogy? Is Vaughn as awesome and freaky, as tormented and as infuriating, yet as sexy, as Grey? Was THIS the book that we’ve been looking for to give us another “Christian-style fix? Hrmmm…. sorry. But nope. Sorta close, but not close enough. It had everything it needed to “give me the need to read” – I mean how could one not want to read this? This looked like it would be right up my alley!
