Following my heart, one book at a time...
*woooo hoooo!!* Paranormal romance lovers, rejoice!! I just added 25 more upcoming releases to the main “Book Releases” page. But instead of making you search for the new stuff amongst that already huge release page, I posted the newest finds right here for y’all for a quick peek! 😀
Dark Blood (Dark Series Book 26)
One of my favorite paranormal authors is well into another series! Book #3 will be out soon, and this one is YA, and about a post-apocolyptic world. I’m hearing “intense love story”! 😀
Melissa: I read the first one and have the second one on my shelf. I loved it. It kept me thoroughly engrossed in it.
Ash: I love it actually!
Tasha J: I’ve just finished book2 in the Arcana Chronicles by Kresley Cole, Endless Knight. The first being Poison Princess. And I devoured these books! Not sure who recommended them on here but absolutely loving them so far, and I see that a new one is coming out this summer I think!
So I may hold off on the third until it gets closer to that one come out. The whole tarot card aspect is something I haven’t read before and it was done so well, it was just the thing I needed. You know when you have to switch up genres from time to time so u don’t get that burnt out feeling? At least I do quite often…anyway this series did it for me!
About book #1:
The last thing I remember is having drinks at Brady’s and trying to avoid eye-contact with my life-long crush—the gorgeous, unattainable Maximilian Hallowell. They tell me that was a year ago, but I have no memories of anything since then. What I do have is this ring on my finger that Max says he gave me, and this much-thinner body I’ve dreamed of most of my life. Aside from a case of retrograde amnesia, everything seems almost…perfect.
But the deeper I immerse myself into this new world of mine—planning a wedding to a man I don’t remember dating, attempting to run a business I don’t remember starting—the clearer it becomes that nothing is as it seems. Do I have the life I’ve always wanted or is it a facade propped up by secrets I don’t even know I have?
Tee hee!! I couldn’t help myself. I am a Cara McKenna addict and I’m so excited for her upcoming book! Lay It Down: A Desert Dogs Novel <— This TUESDAY!!! It just seems that I love everything that I have read by her, so far, and I have just discovered a plethora of her books still waiting to be read.
In fact, I just found out she writes under yet another pen name!!!!
Betty: Loved loved loved loved loved! Your review of After Hours introduced to Cara McKenna and I’ve read all her books, even those under Meg Maguire. Curio is great!
These standalones sound like so much “new adult” fun (shy girl tutors bad boy in college) and a few in our crew are discovering and loving ’em!
Right??!!! All of ’em sound like what we love, and this author is MUCH loved by many right here!
Joanna: Don’t know if this one’s come up yet, but I really enjoyed it. Hot and fun and just a little weird… New adult, and a good fix…
Jody: I really liked this one.
Katie: Thank you Joanna! Finally found a book that is holding my interest and giving me that feeling! After Math by Denise Grocer Swank is awesome good!!!!!!
