Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – August 20th 2013

Two highly anticipated releases are out today: Wethering the Storm – a rock star book (#2 after the one I LOVED last year) and Shooting Scars (YAY bad guys!! Javier and I have a date!). Ohhh I have a feeling he and I are not going to go well together after this one, but I still can’t help myself. 😉 *fingers crossed*

P.S. I read a book last night that I LOVED! Like… 4.5 star loved. No real complaints from me other than I just wish it was longer. Other than that, it fulfilled my reading needs (and I loved the writing style), so I’ll be reviewing that one shortly. read more

Sweet Thing —> One of my FAVORITE books this year (check out my review) is having a cover reveal. Well, it’s actually it’s third cover, 😉 but I think this is the one that’ll stick, ’cause it just got picked up by a big publisher!

A deliciously rich “reading-snack” that was short-ish, sure… but it had plenty of steam and romance to indulge and entertain me. My perfect bedtime read! And yes, there will be a book #2 (sort of a cliffhanger on this one) but nothing too crazy. Just enough of a *something* that had me chuckling wickedly when I reached the end. ‘Cause book #2 will lead us into phase #2 of this woman’s very determined personal goals.

Here is a question I JUST received and I was SO sure I knew the answer (see my answer below)… but I was wrong! And now I gotta know what this book is, too!

Okay here’s another one that by the way the reader describes the end, it ends in a cliffhanger. I’ve left off most of it since it’s spoilery, but maybe this is enough info for y’all to go on:

Kandi asks:

“It was a girl that fell in love with her brothers (she had 2) best friend. Her brothers were very protective and didn’t want her dating their best friend. They started sneaking around… *spoiler*”

Okay so I know this might not be enough info, but the rest kind of sounds exciting and crazy (I’m just going to throw in “stalker” as a keyword), and I don’t want to say anymore. 🙂 Maybe those who have read it will know exactly which one she’s referring to. I’m thinking she’s desperately waiting on the sequel. read more
