Afterlight: The Dark Ink Chronicles
Hey Guys! Good to see you back! I’m still embarrassed that I lost the keys to Maryse’s place and locked my keys in my truck. *sigh* I would lose my head if was not attached. I am so excited about camping out here this week! I forgot to get an air mattress, but I’m sure that won’t matter right? I did remember to get blood though. Small problem. Do you know about mosquitoes? I really hate those little effers. As soon as I open a bottle they act like it’s open bar. I don’t care for them.

Book Review – Rock Hard by Olivia Cunning
Rock Hard (book#2 in the “Sinners On Tour” series).
Remember that jerk “Sed” I told you about in book#1 (you know… the singer)? Pretty much the hottest guy alive (*sigh* yes – alive. Still no vampires *shrug* 😉 ). Tall, hulking and sexy as anything. And. He has DIMPLES!!!! (my absolute downfall – dimples will win me over all the time). The guy who would use many groupies at a time, and throw ’em outta the bus when he was done? Well, maybe I take the “jerk” part back. Because… his heart. It was broken. Stupid Jessica!! Or so I thought.
Book Review – Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning
Backstage Pass: Sinners on Tour
You know, sometimes, I need a break. Not from reading per se, but from a genre. My “breaks” never last long, because I’m a total vampire-addict. There’s just something about a dark and brooding hunky predator with superhuman strength, magical powers, and a secret need to redeem his soul (and his heart) that just does it for me. Specially when a mere human just “does it” for him. Love those!
But every once in awhile, a book catches my attention and despite it not being anywhere near the paranormal genre, I just have to read it. And while this book blog is paranormal in genre, sometimes, I can’t stop thinking about a book, and I just need to tell you why. In this case my book enthusiasm involves two books that are purely, purely guilty pleasures for me. Because…what is almost as hot as a sexy, yet unattainable paranormal being? That’s right. A rock star. Oh come on! You know it’s true. Vampires, Rock Stars… what’s the difference? And when I saw the premise of this series, I knew I had to read them!
Book Review – The Demon in Me by Michelle Rowen
The Demon in Me (A Living in Eden Novel)
Darrak. Sinfully sweet and sexy yet potentially evil, Darrak. I have been crushing on you since I first spotted your cover of “Something Wicked”. With that slightly arrogant expression on your face, you sure looked like you were hiding something wicked, alright. I oooh’d and ahhh’d, and used every excuse I could to post your most gorgeous cover on my blog. I would bring you up in book-related conversation, just so that I could eventually gush over your cocky, yet undeniable handsome-ness. And all of this before I even truly knew who you were. I am not ashamed to say, I totally judged your book by it’s cover. And I’m happy to report, you are as gush-worthy on the inside as you are on the out.
Lily’s Book Review – What I Wore to Save The World by Maryrose Wood
What I Wore to Save the World
Hey Maryse’s Minions! I mean, followers! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Today I have planned to bring you a special treat, I am going to catch a leprechaun and we will have green blood margaritas! YAY! I know they are slippery little brats, but I’m sure a good progeny like me can find one, right? While I go hunting for one I will tell you about my recent adventure to Ireland. No, I didn’t get to go in real life (stop bringing up my Irish deficiencies would ya?) but I did get to check it out with the final installment of the Morgan Rawlinson series written by Maryrose Wood.
Oh and I’m giving away all three books in this trilogy!!
