Undead and Unwed
Hey, everyone! Welcome back. I see some of us brought shifters again. If they are not housebroken they have to stay outside, seriously. One of them peed on the rug, and another attempted to eat something from the trash and got sick in the tub. Come on guys, I already had to glue her fave lamp back together with Gorilla Glue, then get Oops to clean up all the glue that dripped off, and now I’m looking for dye for the carpet, because, did you know Oops takes the color out of fabric? I didn’t know this. Plus MadHatter put SOMETHING in the toilet. I have no idea what and I am scared to ask what it was, but I tell you finding the blankets in the closet to absorb up the mess was nightmare. They were in plastic bags and everything. I still haven’t found the missing chewing gum yet.

Lily`s Book Review – Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Bad Moon Rising: A Dark-Hunter Novel (Dark-Hunter World Book 18)
Lily is dancing in her underwear and talking about Fang…
Oh hello, guys. I didn’t expect you back already. Ok. Let me turn off the music, put some pants on and put these jazz fingers away. Let’s try this again, and please don’t tell her about the stain on the center pillow on the sofa. I swear that bottle of blood was empty when I fell asleep.
So anyways, Hello Maryse’s followers. Since she’s out of the house, I am going to talk about books behind her back! Muhahaha . This is a warning of sorts; we don’t review books the same way. Her’s are always pretty and elegant and NEVER anything outrageous. Mine are more rambling and outlandish. You have been warned. Now *queue theatrical voice* PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!
Sherrilyn Kenyon’s “Infinity” is Being Released Tomorrow!
Yay! I’ve been waiting and waiting, following Sherrilyn’s website, absorbing all the details I can on Nick’s upcoming book (and he is most certainly one of my FAVORITE characters), and future installments. I love how detailed Ms. Kenyon’s character pages are.
Written for the YA market (Nick in his teens!!), this book is sure to stir all of us devoted Dark-Hunter fans.
While we wait for tomorrow (just one more “sleep” until the book is in my hands! LOL!), here are some cool links to tide us over…
Book Review – The Darkly Luminous Fight for Persephone Parker by Leanna Renee Hieber
The Darkly Luminous Fight for Persephone Parker
I received this book from the author, and I must say, the second installment in Percy’s saga is just as beautifully written as the first. Exciting, dramatic and romantic, it will take you away to a world of intrigue, while simultaneously having you laugh out loud as you bond with the jovial characters.
In the last installment, the mystery of Percy’s past was revealed, along with how she is emotionally linked to Alexi. The revelations continue in this book, uncovering details from how they came to be, and how The Guard has progressed through time.
Book Review – Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris

Dead in the Family: A Sookie Stackhouse Novel
Welllllll…..I dunno. It’s got Eric in it. So that’s good. I love Eric. Any book in the series I will read – and overall, enjoy by default – as long as it’s got Eric in it. Other than that, I was left a little bewildered. The magic…where did it go? I kept wondering, were all the books in the series like this? Did I just not realize it when I first read the series, because I was so new to the genre?
Sookie appears to have lost some emotion. Well not exactly, but when Sookie appeared to have emotion, I never “felt” it. She’s nonchalant about Eric, Bill, and anyone for that matter. She’s quick to muse about her sexual attraction, and how important her friends are to her, but not about truly loving any of them. While it makes sense that Sookie’s emotional distance might be attributed to the trauma she has recently escaped from, I’ve found Sookie, as of the last few books, to be annoyingly unaffected despite some very earnest moments.
