Yes, normally I’m more into the alpha-males, but I have fallen head-over-heels with a few of the gentler, patient and unrestrained loving heroes too! So it’s their time to shine, here!!

Ashley: I reread ‘So, that got weird’ by Amelia Kingston and that was a fun time – it has the same vibe as Elle Kennedy or Maya Hughes’ books (which I’m a huge fan of).

Final Serenade (The Encore Book 1) <— OMG YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT!!!!! And now I’m in the throes of an epic book hangover. This one put me in an incredible love fog, and I haven’t felt like this in ages.
What is “like this” you ask? You know that feeling of anxious anticipation, like something awesome is about to happen, and all the butterflies, and a bit of dread (maybe even a lot of it, LOL!!), but a definite feeling of fondness for newfound friends? ALL of that for me. And oh how I miss them terribly right now.
Meredith: You say heroine dressed as a man and I immediately think of Twelfth Night and She’s the Man (since it’s a retelling of Twelfth Night to begin with.) 🤣
