Eeeeeep! I just had a phone interview with Sylvia Day and I was kind of a nervous wreck. LOL!!!! But it was SO much fun, too. I was just too excited I think, considering all of the crazy-awesome Sylvia Day related news lately (the Crossfire TV series – and YES I ask her about it!!) AND in regards to her latest book release yesterday that totally fed my alpha needs. Well… let’s just say I was delightfully overwhelmed while speaking to her, and my head is still “in the clouds” right now.

Latest Bargain e-Books – August 9th 2013
A very long list today, and so many look good, but there are already five that gave me that “shift-my-TBR-list” jolt. 😉 Okay, like… Josh and Hannah (look at the recommendations for it below and tell me it doesn’t make you wanna one-click), Beneath the Burn (the one I’ve been getting the most recs for lately), Raising Ryann (Bad Boy Reformed) (another that I keep getting a ton of recommendations for), Trouble (running away with the cage fighter/MC leader’s woman? I dunno but that sounds like it might be fun!) and Cake ’cause of the recommendations, ’cause I love cupcakes and the cover is too cute, and ’cause someone said she’s in love with her best friend and his feelings aren’t mutual. Oh I love that kind of book pain!

Happy Bargain eBooks and reader recommendations day!!! And yes, this list has already messed up my nice new shiny TBR list. GAH!!! And YAY!!! 😀 But no worries, I’m still on that TBR list ’cause I love it. But… you know. I’ll slip in a few of these new ones too. 😉
NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order.
- Unteachable by Leah Raeder <— I already *squirreled* on my new TBR list and picked this one up (am reading it now) after some very adamant recommendations! Like one from Rachel: “Maryse, you HAVE to read Unteachable, by Leah Raeder. Gorgeous writing, fully dimensional characters, interesting story. Even though it’s teacher/student, it feels very different. There’s not so much taboo. But the writing…the imagery…other writers dream they can write like this. I know your tbr list is long, but this one deserves a spot near the top. It’s a standalone.” and then Sadie picked it up, too: ” OK, so I just started reading Unteachable last night and I’m hooked! Writing style is unique and so vivid and I don’t know where it’s going so I’m nervous.”
- Rock Chick by Kristen Ashley <— On sale on Amazon!! Thanks to Nancy and Lori for pointing out this deal!! “Rock Chick by KA is on sale at itunes…! If you haven’t read this, you should! Last in the series coming out Aug 13.” Kristen Ashley is one of my favorite authors in the whole wide world!!!!!!!
- Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park <— one of my original NA indie favorites!! GET IT! SO good (thanks for the find, Aimee!). Check out my review.
- Temptation (Club Destiny #2) by Nicole Edwards <— Kandace is having fun with this series! “I’m reading the second book in the Club Destiny series and holy HOTness. How did I know about these before now? I am in erotic heaven!!” Actually, she spurred on a serious “LOVE THE GUYS” conversation. (here’s the entire series reading order)
Georgia Callaghan All of her books are so good!!!!!
Kandace: OMGosh! They are sooo yummy. I’m loving Luke and Cole. They are….Ahhh! I’m so jealous of Sierra. I want a Luke and Cole sandwich.

<— Book #2 (MANIC: Rook and Ronin, #2) for this one just came out and I almost forgot the crazy enthusiastic recommendations I received for book #1 (TRAGIC: Rook and Ronin, #1! Very excited. How did this get pushed down on my TBR list?
Oh and okay… so here’s my personal bargain ebook recommendation today —> Damaged and the Beast by Bijou Hunter. Most of you already know ’cause of my “currently reading” post below, but I just wanted to let you know I’m at 80% and still all-in!

I’ve just figured it out. All of this “ebook hoarding” I’m doing? It’s not really hoarding. It’s collecting. Col-lect-ing. Everyone collects something, right? And they’re so much easier to manage in e-book format (so at least they’re not collecting actual dust. Virtual dust maybe, but I’ll get to ’em and dust ’em off then). But yes, I’m a little one-click happy.
Sure.
And okay. Maaaaybeeee I’m preparing. You know, in case of a crazy zombie-apocalypse caused book-drought or somethin’. Although if that’s the case, there probably won’t be any electricity to charge my iPad. I better get me some extra solar-powered chargers, too. Tee hee! 😉
