Here is the list of the latest reader recommendations and it has a little of everything that we love. Rock stars, bad boys, boxers, a male stripper (definitely a bad boy, right?<— tee hee!!!) a teacher/student, a couple of tear-jerkers, a couple of opposite-type students that are forced to work on a project together (yay!), some bikers and… cops.

Cops? Yeah I know. I don’t usually jump all over the real-life super-heros (although I totally should, ’cause OMG how hot are they?) But for some reason, lately, i’m often attracted to the “book-bad-guy” but… okay so at this very moment, I am absolutely coveting “police in uniform” romance books. I just read one last night (Covet‘ll be out on Tuesday – so I’ll put out my review in a day or so) and I got real attached to the police officer in that one. *sigh* I even feel kind of lonely right now. I guess I just love that “unapproachable when in uniform” feel to the initial meetings and banter between a civilian and an cop. I like that little look “behind” the officer. Haha! That came out wrong!! 😉 But you know what I mean. *sigh*. read more

Fantastic list of one-click temptations here. Some new-ish gritty biker reads, a few dark captive reads (*whoo for me!!*), a creepy ghost story, a celebrity/normal girl story… but most of all, love, love and MORE love! My kind of list! Some that I already had, and a few new ones that have me rubbing my hands together in glee! Also I listed a few from my recent “I loved it” reviews. P.S. I couldn’t help but one click the darker ones. *blush* 😉

<—- Yesssss I know.  I already went nuts over it last Sunday, but I can’t help it you guys!!!! This is obviously going to be one of the emotional-reading highlights of my year, ’cause it seems to have ruined me for all books this week. So… I’ve gotta highlight it again, in case some of you forgot to read it. 😉

And as much as I loved it, as much as it turned me upside down and affected me, I’m a little mad at it, right now. I’m thinking of blaming it for my rough reading week. I’ve started and stopped a few too many over the last few days, and the two that I did finish (one I’ll be reviewing tonight) didn’t affect me the way I wanted (the way I was certain they would). read more

I had an AWESOME reading week, and my reading weekend promises to be just as amazing. I still have my “J’s” to read —> Jake (from Wethering the Storm which is bargain priced!), and Javier (Shooting Scars). What!?? I know, right? Two of my favs… TWO books heroes that I have given 5 stars to, in past installments, and I still haven’t had my dates with ’em yet.

What am I waiting for? Er… I dunno? Have you ever done that? Anticipated a book release so hard that when it finally gets here, you… stare at it, but don’t read it right away? I’m conflicted. I want to read both equally, but I’ve decided to save them. Kind of… “the best for last”. My “cherries on top” of my amazing reading week. So I have my book-date nights with them tonight and tomorrow. I’m saving them for my weekend, when I don’t have work and responsibilities interrupting with my reading time. I can stay up till 5am if the books hold me that hard, without worrying about book-zombie consequences. read more
