I read two books this week (Emerge & Jane’s Melody) and will be putting up the reviews tomorrow and Sunday (although I wrote little mini-reviews below since I do recommend both).

Practically everything is new to me on this list. Just one week away and I’m sifting through a plethora of GREAT looking recommendations. And because of your adamant recommendations, I’ve already read one from the list below, and you guys were spot-on!

I have some serious catching up to do. My lonely TBR list is calling me, and there are a few on here that are calling me just as loudly. A few like… Mid Life Love, Obsession (yep still on my TBR and I’m dying to read this one!), Uncharted, Razer’s Ride, Painted Lines, Nearly Broken (lots of dark ones on here). I’m preparing for Book Bash right now!! I’m in it. In the full and thick of it. Okay.. not really “Book Bash” yet ’cause officially it’s tomorrow, but it’s prep day and we’re all going full blast. Author table setup, puttin’ up the banners, preparing the line areas, Books-A-Million is setting up as we speak. Books! Books everywhere books!! And did I mention authors? Yep! There goes one now!

Eeeeeep!! I’m so excited. But! Just ’cause I’m “on location” doesn’t mean I can shirk my blogging responsibilities. So as this event progresses, I will be taking pictures, notes and filling y’all in with all of the details. read more

I am in my countdown to Book Bash mode, making a list, checking it twice… I’m trying to find out who’s naughty or nice. Er…. oh wait. That’s Santa. But I feel like it’s Christmas right now so it works! 😀

I swear I can barely sleep, double-checking everything, “pre-experiencing” it in my brain, *squeeing* about it in text messages with anyone that can stand me right now. I’m even dreaming about it. And I have those typical dreams, you know? The ones where you “forget” to show up and realize that you missed your own test (or in my case… “event”). Then there was the one where I did show up but forgot to bring… everything. Now, i’m just expecting the next one to be me walking in… in my underwear. read more

Here are the ones that have especially caught my eye: Emerge (Evolve Series) (sure enough, very good reviews), Obsession (YES!!!!! *happy wiggle*), Watch Over Me, Defiance (I can’t wait to get to this dystopian biker book), and Fighting Destiny (a fae paranormal, and while I’m not usually into “fae” our fellow readers have been really taken by this new release, so I’m curious.
