Following my heart, one book at a time...
<— BULLY ROMANCE ALERT!! But NOT reverse harem!! Book #2 was JUST released (and book #3 is already up for preorder!!). These are skyrocketing up the Amazon charts!! 😀 Whoooooooooo!!! And there is SOOOOO MUCH LOVE for it here!
Tessa: Broken Wings by Jaymin Eve and Tate James – OMG this book was my fantasy mix. Bully book with James’ great plot and story telling with Eve’s wonderful character writing. *thunks* Not reverse harem! Just bully book with great characters. GREY! FYI! It’s KU!
In celebration of Megan and Harry’s new baby boy, and a new release coming out in this series, “Royal Holiday” (inspired by her mom, Doria Ragland!!), what better time than to post about this one!
Kathy P: I did enjoy the Wedding Date. It is an interracial romance that takes place in the Bay Area/LA and since I am originally from the Bay Area it made it for interesting to read. Her new book is on this list.
Lys: I loved The Wedding Date!
About book #1:
Agreeing to go to a wedding with a guy she gets stuck with in an elevator is something Alexa Monroe wouldn’t normally do. But there’s something about Drew Nichols that’s too hard to resist.
BULLY SERIES REVERSE HAREM ALERT!!! Oooooh this one is putting SO many in our book-crew in a frenzy!!! And book #3 just went LIVE!!
Tessa: GAH! I can’t stop thinking about it, especially that ending. It doesn’t end on a CH, but it’s the end of her first year at the academy, but that end. Filthy Rich Boys by CM Stunich. If Grey read RH, I’d be pushing this book so much. The bullying and the story and then that ending. GAH! SOOOO GOOOD! … OMG, the tension is there, but that end… It truly was not what I was expecting. Jaw dropping but not a CH. It was “year one” of the series. Both are KU. 🙂
ROCK STAR ALERT!! OMG this series sounds like SO. MUCH. FUN!!! And… book #2 just went LIVE!
About book #1:
Jesse Lee is the worst!
He’s a multi-millionaire, triple-platinum-selling, Grammy-Award-winning man-slut—a worldly, self-indulgent heathen. I wouldn’t sleep with him if he were our last chance to ensure survival of the human race. The only reason I put up with him is because he’s my boss’s brother.
Whatsherface is one of those holier-than-thou types.
She’s bossy, has a horrific singing voice, and she’s so ordinary, she practically blends in with the eggshell-colored walls—the complete opposite of anyone I’d bang. The only reason I put up with her is because my career is on the line.
PARANORMAL ROMANCE SERIES ALERT!! Author Rebecca Hefner is this week’s newsletter sponsor, she’s a huge fan of the BDB (like us 😀 !!! ), and she’s preparing for the release book #4 in this series (in just a month!!).
To celebrate (and get us caught up on the series) she’s sent over a five fun facts (I love it ’cause we get to see who the characters were inspired by, plus more cool tidbits), and she’s giving away an e-book of book #1 to one lucky commenter here.
