Nay: For anyone who likes book adaptations, I just saw Maryse’s FB post about Pretty Things by Janelle Brown, and when I went to add it to my tbr on GR, I saw that one of my friends had posted that Nicole Kidman is going to produce and star in the book’s adaptation as a streaming Amazon series…

HUGE AWESOME KARINA HALLE NEWS ALERT!!! I’m telling, this Sunday just keeps getting better and better!! Guess WHAT? Remember how depressed I was when my beloved Experiment in Terror series came to an end? I knew it had to eventually, and I had devoured each one as they were released but the last one… I was saving for a rainy day, since it was the end. But I CAN READ IT NOW BECAUSE!!!!!!

There. WILL. BE. ANOTHER!!!!! *squeeeeeeee!!!!* I was squeeing about it with Tasha this morning:

Maryse: …It’s why I haven’t read the very last book in my beloved Experiment in Terror series. I was so sad it was over. BUT GUESS WHAT I FOUND OUT? She’s releasing yet another book soon. Years later, and IT IS BACK!!! YAY ME!!!

Tasha J: *screams* OH MY GAAAAAAHHH!!! Oh, this is the best news!!!! I was so heartbroken when she stopped writing the genre. There’s nothing quite like EIT to me. 🥰

I know what you mean by not finishing cuz you don’t want it to end. I do it ALL the time. With shows more, but I still haven’t finished the last in the Throne of Glass series even though I adore anything SJM writes and I crave her books and I ‘could’ pick it up and get that fix. 😂

The author emailed me saying:

Hope you’re doing well, Maryse. It’s funny, I was just thinking about you since I was reading about Mambo Maryse in Come Alive lol.

Which brings me to the next thing…I’m returning to EIT! It took six years and this sh*tty sh*tty year before I was ready and I am so ready and LOVING IT.

Came Back Haunted — EIT #10 — comes out on my bday, December 11th…

OMG!!! YES. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. If you haven’t read these yet, now is the PERFECT TIME to jump in, right before Halloween. They must be read in order, because it follows the same Hero and heroine that go on… sort of… ghost hunting episodes for each book (and yes… SCARY STUFF) but also awesome, because there’s romance angst and love triangles and HURT to the max. WE. WERE. HOOKED!!!!! ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE SERIES EVER IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD.
