Here’s another pick from my one of my latest posts “Seventeen books on my TBR List”. It was actually a new release that caught my eye with that synopsis, so it hasn’t been on my TBR list for long, but I couldn’t help but jump in ASAP. I loved the premise. It had an obvious “romantic-angst” factor right from the start, and while I haven’t read that many like it (yet), I’ve been there before with another one of my past favorites.

Book Review – Brutally Beautiful by Christine Zolendz
Brutally Beautiful
Pure entertainment from start to finish. So good, cleverly written and it mostly had it all. Great story flow, intense tension between two adults (strangers) that can’t stand each other at first (with good reason!), but have that undeniable pull, despite their resistance. Big time secrets and tragic pasts (but wait, you’ll see! <— the craziness!) that ruled their current lives. Adrenaline-inducing parts with a twist-reveal (or two), a small entourage of loving family and friends and… a strip club. 😛 Fun times!
J. Sterling – The Perfect Game Series Reading Order
<— Uber-angst, famous sports-star alert!! Well… this one, anyway. It made me wanna THROW my e-reader hard! Oh it gave me the “feels” alright (like swooney feels), but a few (er… many?) times the “feels” were so crazy I was growling in fury. Fun times! 😉 (here’s my review)
I still need to read #2 and #3 and guess what?! I can, ’cause the third and final book in this tumultuous “loving a famous guy” love-story has just been released (tons of great reviews on Amazon, already!!)
E.K. Blair – Fading Series Reading Order
Gorgeous covers, full of dark emotion and from the synopsis I can tell these will be exactly that. And quite possibly much healing, too. Check out these reader recommendations!

Cassia Leo – Shattered Hearts Series Reading Order
Suggested to us as a “What to Read After Thoughtless” option, so I’m thinking this one’s got some intense angsty love-triangle action!! A surfer AND a rock star to choose from. I get the dilemma. 😉
Tessa: I just finished reading Relentless and Pieces of You by Cassia Leo and I thought they were really good. I really like the story line and I could not put them down, I needed to know what was going to happen next. Did I mention there is a hot surfer and a hot rock star in it? I think they should bed in your TBR list. 🙂
