Book Review – Addicted to You by Krista & Becca Ritchie

Addicted to You (Addicted Series)
Yep, I’m late to the game, with this one. Released last year, (with an intriguing premise to boot!) this series has since had quite a few follow-up releases, and many of my fellow readers are loving it. In fact, it would appear the further into the series this one goes, the better the books get! The last two books really wow’d ’em! So after so many awesome and adamant recommendations, you know I just had to jump in and taste-test!

Justine: you guys need to know about it! Talk about flawed romance! I am 80% through the book so far, and I only stopped because I had to get some sleep. Am LOVING it so far – highly recommend! read more

<— Fantastic little piece of sweetness, this one! The synopsis gave me a “blurb jolt” last month, ’cause it had that obvious (and understandable) pining/unrequited-love factor that I crave so much, and I’m so happy my trusty reading -bud, Jean, told me to get on it! It was exactly as I imagined it to be.

Jean: Maryse, I started The Year We Fell Down last night because I was looking for something different. Well, I am loving it! Slow build up, great characters, and I don’t think I’ve ever read a book about a girl in a wheelchair. What a great book! Highly recommend it! read more

Jessica Park – Flat-Out Love Series Reading Order

<— I fell in LOVE with this book way back in 2011, when I first discovered the wonderful world of indie “new adult” romance. In fact, I read this one just days after my love affair with Travis, and while Travis was (and will forever be) my #1, I five-star loved this one, too! It’s SO good, so well written, so witty and the romantic tension is sweetly intense. And then… the twist!! *oomph!!!!* I spent another few days in a silly-sweet love haze after it, and this became one of my “Maryse Indie Classic Favorites”. 😉 Just check out my review and you’ll see! Book Review – Carnage by Lesley Jones

*whoooo* I’m absolutely drained. Emotionally, but it almost seems… physical. I feel like I’ve been put through the wringer, and I can’t even tell you how I feel coming out of it. Well… no I know exactly how I feel, I just can’t tell you, so you don’t go in with pre-conceived notions. neutral This is another book that is best not knowing anything, to get the full impact.
