Book Review – Pull Me Close by Sidney Halston

Pull Me Close: The Panic Series
I loved it! I’d been hearing plenty in regards to how it was a must-read (so I one-clicked it!!), and that we should go in blind, because of a few twists that give this story that extra-oomph that we don’t see coming. And I wholeheartedly agree! It ALL fits, it’s all emotionally real, and honest in its delivery, and for real? It felt like I KNEW these characters by the end. All of them. Not just the main ones.

I will absolutely be reading book #2 (but no worries, this one stands alone and is replete with everything we need and love in our romances). read more

Marissa Farrar – The Monster Trilogy Reading Order

DARK READ KIDNAP & RECLUSE ALERT!!! Book #1 is super-bargain priced today, and the trilogy conclusion is coming out this month! It sounds pretty darn great! She has a phobia of being touched, and she’s kidnapped by a recluse that won’t let himself be seen in public. Yikes!!! This sounds right up my alley. Has anyone read these yet?

A.E. Torre – Deanna Madden Series Reading Order

PSYCH-THRILLER LOVERS!!! Look at this! Now… I know SO many of you read this one a couple of years ago when it was still “indie” but it’s since been picked up by a big publisher, and now it’s TWO books deep, with a third book that’s coming out soon! Now that I’m a HUGE psych-thriller fan, I need to read this ASAP ’cause OMG THAT BLURB! Yep so good, that they’re making a movie!!

Emma Scott – City Lights Series Reading Order

I only discovered this author with her latest book #3 release (each book can be read as a standalone), but I fell in love with her writing and had to know more! Sure enough, it would seem the theme of this series features reclusive, brooding men, traumatic experiences and the women that they finally let into their hearts. *sigh*

Jillian: Maryse you’ll Love Rush. PLEASE give it a shot. You’ll be hooked. I know it! It really is just brilliant. You FEEL and LIVE every moment with them. He’s the epitome of a jerk to her at the beginning… I was so mad at him! The things he says and does… Gah!!! And the girl in it is the perfect heroine. She wasn’t over the top perfect, but she wasn’t annoying. She was real, he was real. He was an amazing extreme sports athlete… To have that taken away and the way we get to see his pov through his blind eyes? Wonderful. She wrote it to a T. Anyone!! You won’t regret reading it. (I swear I do not know the author, promise) ;) read more

RECLUSE ALERT!!! Ohhh I love trying to get through to these guys. In books. 😉 I haven’t read this serial series yet, but the series appears to be complete, and even bundled!! And Jen says it’s even more forbidden than I thought!
