Worth the Fall: The McKinney Brothers
I was soooo in the mood for a book like this. It was a total “new-to-me” surprise in a recent release list with a premise that had my heart, right from the start. I just knew this would be my next. And… it’s not because I read many “military” romance books (although I have no idea why, ’cause to me, these guys are the ultimate heroes while retaining their bad-ass alpha-ness). Perfect for me. I should read more of ’em!
Lydia Michaels – The Surrender Trilogy Reading Order
<— Okay I had never heard of this one until yesterday when two of my reading buddies (we have very similar book-taste) buddy-read this series together and loved it. Then… they let me in on the fun!!! Yep… I NEED THIS!!!!
Kandace: Maryse, Lori and are reading Falling In by Lydia Michaels and we are loving it hard. It’s a trilogy. We both are past the 80% mark of bk 1. I can’t explain it but it is really drawing us in. This is a series that I haven’t seen much talk about and I think it truly deserve to be recognized. The feels are all over the place. It’s about a girl who has lived her entire life on the street and a rich guy. It sounds simple but it is way more than that. I think a lot of your followers would love this book. I’m hoping the rest of the books keep the same momentum. I just thought I would share with you. … It did take until about chapter three for me to really get into it.
Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – September 16th 2014
I’ve already found a few that I hadn’t heard of before but that sound AWESOME. YAY!!!! So excited!! Okay like… What If (that one to the left). Well, to be fair, I DID know about this one’s upcoming release, and it sounds SO good! A doppelgänger? With secrets!??
Oh and these REALLY have my attention (these are the ones I just “discovered” today): Sway —> They TOTALLY bond, and I guess bad things are discovered and they have to split… but: “one realization becomes clear: they’ve both fallen hard for the absolute wrong person, which leaves both scrambling for a way to make it right.” YES YES!! I wanna know what that means!! And this one: The Rules Regarding Gray (she… umm… “interacts” with her boyfriend’s best friend with his permission? And the best friend begins falling for her…) YIKES!!! AND!! This one —> Wild Ride (she’s escaping her ex-biker-boyfriend, and gets picked right back up by another biker…). Oh!! And A Natural Act <— an MMA fighter/med student that helps an abused woman but doesn’t want to get involved with her… sounds like it’s for ME!!! 😀

Strapped (Strapped Series Book 1) by Nina G. Jones <— Kandace and Lori recommend this one!
Kandace: Lori and I decided to buddy read the Strapped series by Nina G Jones. We were both in the mood for an alpha dominate CEO type book. This series starts off as your typical FSoG type story but then slowly morphs in to something different. The two MC are not on my top fav couples list but I truly enjoyed the hot sex scenes and the suspense. This story was so twisty and suspenseful. I had hard time guessing who the good guys and villain(s) were. I’d definitely recommend this story if you’re looking for a darker FSoG story that messes with your mind. It’s not a 5 star read for me but I did enjoy the entire package.
